I wear a 32E in the Offbeat Side Support, because the band on that style runs small. When I decided to try the plunge version, I started with 32E and 32DD, assuming it would be the same. The cups of the plunge are significantly deeper, so the 32DD was a much better fit. However, the band of the plunge runs true to size, and was too large in 32. So, I decided to try my usual band length and ordered a 30E. Much better fit!
The tops of the cups and the gore are a bit wide for me. Considering overlapping the gore to address both issues.
Edit: I ended up deciding that the cup shape is off enough for me not to keep this bra. It’s so close! But just not quite right.
I like the Offbeat Side Support, so I decided to try the plunge. While a wear a 32E in the side support style, the plunge fits much better in a 32DD. However, the band of the plunge is much, much longer! (We’re talking multiple inches.) So, I’m going to try sister sizing to a 30E in this one. I do measure as a 30 band, so I think the plunge band actually fits truer to size.
Shape is rounder than the side support version, which I like. Cups are narrower, but they’re significantly deeper, too. (In the side support, I ended up bending the wires to make them narrower and give the cups some additional depth.) Gore is the teensiest bit shorter in the plunge. Straps are narrow set enough, which is great!
So close! If this band wasn't so stretchy this bra would have fit. I have the Signature Plunge and this fits pretty much the same aside from the crazy huge band. I think they are essentially the same cut and the Signature Plunge fits me well. So if that style fits you but the band is too tight this one might work for you.
I think it's a pretty good fit! The top lace near the strap is a bit tight and could cause quadding, but it's pretty good! Slight wrinkles at the seams, but the fabric seems stiff so I assume it'll get better over time and washes. It still seems to flatten the sides of my boobs a bit, but it's much better than the other sizes I've tried.
The elastic across one of the cups is tighter than the other, so it's messing up my fit a bit. It's causing a mix of slight quadding and some wrinkling in the cup, so the fit is weird. That's also my larger side, the one I usually judge by, so I'm going to extrapolate the fit from my smaller side for this one.
I feel like this bra would fit quite nicely if the cups were symmetrical. The color is beautiful, and otherwise the fit is good. The straps are adjusted all the way and are just a little too short, so I think it'll be fine after they stretch out from wear. As usual with most of the side support styles so far, the cup wrinkles at the sides (especially when I raise my arm). I feel like this style is pulling me a bit east-west, which might also be contributing to the wrinkling.
Really beautiful bra! Fits true to size, the band rides up on me but that's because I should be wearing a 26. Only one hook closure which doesn't bother me but might be noteworthy for some. Center gore floats just a little but this is the best fitting bra I've tried so far! Also gives a nice round shape under clothes https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This is the Poseidon colorway. The cups are deeper than expected. This was an Amazon Wardrobe item, so I'm not sure if my measurements are off from others' since this bra seemed to have been tried on. (Depth: 10" versus the 9.2" depth from the other bra here). Band: true to size, pretty unforgiving in stretch. Cups: Decently projected at wire, holds up my super soft unsupported tissue. Cups are slightly closed on top; it cut into my bigger breast but not my larger one. Wings: Could be slightly higher to prevent the wires from digging into the loose skin I have at the sides. Straps: No picot edges! Those with ToS struggles will rejoice. (why in the world does this bra have 1 hook? ??)
This is the Mineral colorway. Extremely soft, and stretchier than the Poseidon color way I tried on in 30E. Compared to the 30E, this one fit looser in the band, and roomier in the cups. The top band of the cup doesn't stretch, so those who are/have a smidge more tissue at the upper part may have issue with quadding. I wrinkle slightly at the wire, so it's either a IMF mismatch (I need slightly flatter, nike-swoosh wires) or not enough projection; I'm going with the latter. Cups are slightly too tall when straps are tightened properly, so it cuts into my ToS. The gore is slightly too wide, that my center-full tissue is sitting slightly on top of the wires / getting cut into by it.
I noticed the same thing with mine. The 30G side support fits like a 28 band and I have to use an extender. Freya bands are usually stretchy so I was surprised!
