I really like the look of this bra. The colour I bought was lime, which is a little bit greener and brighter than the photos online show. The cups are lime green with white polka dots and the top has really pretty embroidery.
This bra actually fit really great, in the cups and the band. No poking, no gaping, no wrinkling. I really wanted to like this bra, but the problem was that it gave me a pointy shape. The bottoms of the cup look fine (natural and round), but the top was flattened and thus the pointyness.
Look/Quality: I feel like this bra is well-made, and of course it's absolutely adorable. I love the red fabric with white polka dots, and the mesh with embroidery on the top is lovely. The bows are a nice touch without being too much, and the little embellishments on the band/straps are cute, too. However, I rated the bra's appearance as "good" instead of "excellent" because it gives a somewhat pointy shape that I find too pointy for my personal preferences. I like to have a more rounded look, and this bra just doesn't do that for me. That said, if you like a more "natural" shape, this bra ...might be perfect for you!
Fit: I think the band is too loose for me, even though it's a 28 band and I have a 29" ribcage and the bra was brand new when I got it. I think you could probably size down in this bra if you want to and are able to (obviously that's not an option for those of us that wear 28 bands). I got some quadboob on my left side (the bigger side), but I think sizing up in the cup might have fixed that. I got gaping on my right side, but only because it's smaller than my left. I was expecting that. The wires were a bit too wide for me, but I seem to have a very narrow root. The gore was also sitting on breast tissue, but I think that has more to do with my shape than the bra too; I seem to have close-set breasts (I can only fit one finger between them), so the gore will probably work for someone who has breasts that aren't so close-set. This bra fits comfortably, which is a plus, but it doesn't fit well... The shape of the bra gives me great shape from the front, but, from the sides, looks pointy and forces my boobs downward. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I think the problem might lie in the fact that the bottom section of the cup does not meet the strap, like in a lot of other fabric bras. Also, the bottom section comes rather low in the bra.
This is a standard Freya fit for me and responded well to tried and true alterations of the cup - padded cup insert and darting the fabric to fit my 28C's into the 28D cup and shorten the height for my petite frame. This is the only bra I wash in the machine and it has tolerated it well. Given a couple of years it has stretched a bit and I am now on the 2nd or 3rd hook and it aches a bit at the end of a long day. Still good quality for the price point.
I seriously wanted to love this bra (red & white polka dots! So cute!) but no. 2 hrs & I'm ready to rip it off. Somehow it manages to simultaneously be too short under the arms and so high as to poke my armpits. Even the straps irritate me. They stay put and the band offers enough support that they don't dig but they feel scratchy & pokey too. And while I don't always need the round, boobs on a platter look, I look like Madonna circa 1990 in this. Except the cones point south. The only redeeming factor is it seems well made.
