I got this bra as a sleep bra. My usual UK size is 28FF/G, and my shape is projected, FOT, narrow and tall roots, super close-set, soft and self-supporting.

According to Freya' size chart, a 28FF would be a size S and 28G a size M. I looked at reviews on here and chose the S because a common complaint seems to be the band being too loose. It turns out that the band is indeed too loose, and the cups are fine, so a M would've been too big. If I adjust the straps long enough that the band doesn't ride up much, I don't get quad boobs.

I ... don't know why I assumed the bra is made of cotton when it's mesh. It's very see through. Not a problem as I intended to use it as a sleep bra, but I was worried that the mesh would be uncomfortable. But after a night of sleep I can say that it's not.

I didn't have much expectations with a SML-sized bralette so I'm not disappointed. I wouldn't buy it at full price (£27) though. You might want to avoid this style if you have a very large cup size. The band would likely be too loose and the cups too small.

Thank you for the review! I have been thinking about a sleep bra too.. Sometimes I use sports bras without an underwire, but I like the idea of this Freya bralette. Plus, its way cuter than a sports bra! i may give one a try.

I should've researched more before I bought this bra. I didnt know it was so sheer from all the pictures I had seen. It is sheer and very thin - nipples show through and are very prominent. I thought it looked like a softer cotton, not mesh. I didn't know it has this subtle striping pattern on the sheer mesh either, but I think it cheapens the look.

The thin material does nothing for support, leaving me with a natural but flattened and unattractive shape, very low. I've had unlined bralettes make me look way perkier than this

The bow looks ridiculous, tacked on as an after thought where it doesnt really fit. Clipped it off immediately.

I wish the band was a bit tighter, and the cup a bit bigger, but it's good overall.

This bralette is actually exactly what I'm looking for though - a lacy, black longline bralette that has lots of coverage to wear under scoop neck shirts. It works great for that, I'm just bitter about the shape.

This was my experience with this bralette, too. Dreams and Underthings, for me, has much better support and comfort.

Hmm. I'd probably wear it - over a bra.

Summed up my experience with this bralette too. Very unflattering.

    • My experience with this bralette didn't even get this far! although the size was supposed to fit, it was crazy small. I somehow expected it to be soft, but it also wasn't.

Try other colours than black, as black seems to be smaller than other!
My experience with these bralettes are quite positive, I had 2 fails and 2 of them fits me well.
Ive had black version in Small that was way too small in cups, and im having (for sale actually) purple in M (band is too loose, straps are hell wide on me, but cups feel good)
Recently ive bought the electric blue and blush, and theyre great and both in size Small ! I actually get some support, decent fit (just tiny quadboobs). The only issue I have is straps placement, otherwise its great bra for sleeping and lounging around house! Im still planning to put my hands on navy and lime

This bralette looks comfortable, but is not supportive at all. This is the first bralette that I have tried and it feels like a tight shirt. The lace band is just not substantial enough to do anything so the straps dig into my shoulders if they are tightened. I ordered the size that corresponded to my usual bra size but the band is not snug and the main section creates a monoboob. The buttery yellow is pretty though.

Meh. I'm roughly a 30e/f, wide rooted and somewhat shallow. I previously bought the xs and it was just way too tight across the boob. The small is a better fit, but the elastic band is a little too loose. Maybe best for a 32D/DD.
Speaking of the band, it's just one very narrow elastic holding everything up. The lace band is just for show and provides no support.

I was surprised to discover that this bralette was far too loose on me (both the back and the cups) in size S which is the size recommended on their chart for the 28F/30E that I wear. Usually I wear a size M in bralettes in order to get enough room in the cup. The sizing is definitely strange.

This bra had a minimizing effect on me. My usually perky breasts were held close to my chest and pressed downward. The shape was unflattering and much like a basic sports bra. The band was larger than I expected and the cups too small. Although the shape was similar to a sports bra, the support was significantly less. This band may be more supportive on a 30"+ underbust.

Finally, the mesh created highly visible swirls throughout the fabric. I was not bothered by this effect, but it was repulsive to my sister.

I don't recommend size small for breasts larger than 30F UK....
