It has an average to good projection and works for full on bottom ladies. It has a cute lacey design thats chic but comfortable and not over the top. Sadly the wire was much too wide for my narrow roots and the gore sat uncomfortably tight against my sternum. If it didnt poke at the center it poked under my arms. Also it was riding up at the front, I suppose because the band was too loose and the cup not immidiately and normally projected enough so the wires did sit on my breast tissue sometimes. Writing this I realize how bad this review sounds, that wasn´t intended. I do really like and still own this bra, after some time it gets more comfortable while still giving okay-ish lift. I do think this works better for shapes with wide root width and maybe only average projection.
My information: calculated UK 28E (27" underbust, 32.5"/34.5"/33" bust), FOB, tall roots, projected, close set
I wanted to try this bra because it is padded for extra nipple coverage, but because of the lace and seams, it is quite apparent under clothes.
Other than the wires being too wide (a problem I always have), and the gore being too wide (also a problem I always have), this fits my shape pretty well. However, the top of the gore is SOOO uncomfortable! It's not even a problem with the height of the gore; I've worn bras with higher gores that have been decently comfortable, but for some reason, this really just stabs right into my sternum.
38G - Freya » Daisy Lace Padded Half Cup Bra (5133) this bra does not seem padded to me. It just feels like thick lining? This is really pretty, but I feel like it flattens me and presses my breast down wide. There is significant gaping at the top unless I shorten the straps to pull the cups closer to my chest. The band is too tight and the wires are uncomfortable. I'm convinced that 38s are just not the right size for me. I also think that though it seems like this cup has a lot of depth, the depth is up high in the cup not at the bottom of the cup. I feel like I should stop reviewing all these bras that don't fit me right, as likely I'm just grabbing the wrong size for me.
A happy surprise! The gore tacks, which is unusual for my close set, center full breasts. It's fairly comfortable, but on the tight side - I might have done better with a 30DD. Over time this might get better as it stretches. The tissue is contained and the lift is pretty good. I have a hard time filling out the top of my breasts and getting any kind of rounded shape - this gives a subtle rounding and a pretty good lift.
Super cute! Adorable lace, decently soft inner lining. Straps and underwire lining are super soft (almost fuzzy). Typical stretchy/loose Freya band. The cups have a fair amount of projection, although it wasn't quite immediate enough for me. Wire was a tad too wide. Aside from the super stretchy band, this is one of my better non-polish fits.
