I actually bought this one about a year ago, and I bought it with the knowledge that it was an imperfect fit. I was pretty desperate to get a swimsuit that didn't have me flopping about and falling out in the ocean waves, and it certainly serves that purpose well.
I find the quality to be excellent. A year on, there's no frayed seams or bits falling apart/off, and it's been in ocean, chlorine, and parasailing. It's still a very stark black and white with no noticeable fading, and I haven't noticed any stretching either, although that may be because it was a bit too big to begin with.
It's ...also pretty comfortable and supportive. The only issue I have is that my boobs' weight does put a lot of pressure on my neck because it's a halter top, but that's obviously not a fault on Freya's part as much as mine. I should've realised this and come to terms earlier with the fact that my boobs are simply too heavy for halter tops.
Finally, I adore the way it looks. I love the polka-dots and the little frill details and if I could stand to have the neck pulled tighter my boobs would look killer in it.
tl;dr - I love this swimsuit top and would definitely recommend it to others, with the caveat of being careful of how much weight you're putting on your neck. Read more 126 more words
This fits a little small for a Freya, but maybe their bikinis are more snug? Centre gore floats, cups a little to wide for me, overspill/quadboob near the centre. Band feels very snug for a 38 but maybe will stretch out when wet. Should be acceptable to wear as a "swim bra" under a tank.
Usually wear 36ff in Sweetheart model but bought this one because it was cheap and plan to alter the band (the measurements are for the original bra). I think this is actually my true size in the cup but don't mind a bit more cleavage in 36ff. I love the look, looks great on porcelain skin or tan, I love to combine it with neon briefs.
Basic black Tankini. I sister sized up to a 38FF in hopes it would be looser in the hips. Because of that I felt the band wound up too loose, though the hip area wasa bit tight. I am curvy enough that this tankini wanted to roll a bit up from my hips toward the waist. (I am 46-34-50). I wish you could use both bra and hip measures for a suit. I was worried that it would be too plungey, but it was modest enough with a flattering top line. The cups were a tiny bit big on me- it seemed the underwires were a bit wider than the 36g that fit me well from Freya. The apex of the cups was a bit too high for me (short roots, FOB). Sending it back to try something else. This was my first order from HerRoom, and it was great. They shipped it super fast, and enclosed a return label and paperwork to make returns painless.
