Freya Zodiac Onepiece halter is adorable. The colors and patterns are super trendy. I like the halter with keyhole look. The back has a cheeky coverage, which I like. I ordered this to be a cute swimsuit to wear to the pool to actually swim with my kids, yet still look cute.
This swimsuit definitely let me down, and I mean both my expectations and my boobs, haha! Despite the inner bra being sewn to the swimsuit 3/4 of the way around, I did my best to measure the stretched band, and I got nearly 40 inches, on a 32 band. That is the maaaajor problem ...with this suit. The bra band material is extremely stretchy, even dry. When I wore it, I would tighten on the tightest hooks, and tie the halter tight. Which we all know is uncomfortable. And I would still hike my boobs back up regularly. Additionally, I often avoid high neck shirts because they create an optical illusion of my boobs being low or saggy, so the halter wasn't doing any visual favors to the lack of support situation.
The other critique I have of this swimsuit is of the rear coverage. When wet, the back stays in place nicely. But, that initial walk to the pool while the suit is dry can be perilous. The back wants to very quickly turn itself in to a tanga or thong, not what I want for family swimming, haha.
I have had other Freya swimsuits that have fit much better. I am guessing this style just has some problems. But it would personally deter me from buying their other onepiece halter styles unless I saw lots of reviews leading me to believe it didn't have these same problems. Read more 192 more words
This bikini is adorable. It has a white background with various shades of bright green succulents, some with hot pink flowers. I don't usually go for white swimsuits because I don't tan much. This swimsuit however has lots of color on it, so it doesn't look strange against my pale skin, and isn't see-through.
The cups are underwired, but the cut of the cup gives the look of a triangle bikini top. The back is not adjustable, it has a single plastic clasp. This is a halter neck bikini with double strings and a big hot pink bead at the end of each strap. The ...gore is two small straps. The material is stretchy but not too stretchy. As with all all halter neck bras and swimsuits, if your breasts need a lot of support, your neck will be bearing that weight.
I got the matching ruffle edged bikini bottoms. The style on these are very flattering with elasticized ruffled waist and legs. They are great at not cutting in to create any bulges. I often wear medium bottoms, I have narrow hips that measure around 38 inches. I ordered a small and a medium. They both fit, but I prefered the small. They gave a bit more of a cheeky look, but still weren't super skimpy on me, I was comfortable wearing them swimming with my children.
The one problem that happened with this swimsuit is that the cute beads dangling of the halter strings transfer hot pink dye on to the suit. Which is very noticeable since a lot of the material is white. I don't see how to avoid it, other than maybe removing the beads before use.
Overall I give this bikini 2 thumbs up, I just wish the cups still fit! Read more 198 more words
It's a lovely style and design. However, it gives me quad-boob and only hooks with the right ritual dance to the dark gods of bra-fitting, so it's going away. At 10.2", it's the shallowest bra/top I own.
This bra and the Freya Cherish fit the exact same. It is very pretty, and by doing some research I figured I should get a 32FF instead of my regular Freya 30G. The band is tighter in the swim suits, but I don't like to be suffocated! So I went to the sister size. It does fit like a 30G deco, in the band at least. I am worried though if it stretches out, I only have one clasp. I will just have to hope that doesn't happen! It's very soft and pretty. I think the colour is called sunsboule. It is yellow orange, and polka dotted, it has a really cute vibe that I love. I have the matching briefs too! I'm so excited to try this out!
Cups were just a bit smaller than a usual Freya; I could have lived with it, but I didn't find the shape to be as flattering as I'd hoped so it's going back anyway. The pattern is fun and vibrant without being loud; the bright green is almost neon, and not as olive-ish as it may appear in the stock photos. The bikini top was comfortable, but as I said, not as flattering as I was hoping for. The cups don't really do much for my shape, and if I scooped and swooped aggressively, I had a bit of quadboob.
It's convertible and can be worn ...either as a crossback or as a halter. I had issues with both ways. With the halter style, I felt like there was too much strap leftover, and that I couldn't get the girls to sit how I wanted. With the crossback, I felt constantly in danger of one of the straps popping off in the back; they slide into place like most convertibles, but because the material is so thick, they don't really hook in place. They actually popped off as soon as I tried to put it on the first time.

Awesome. Awesome. AWESOME! This is my first bathing suit to fit since middle school! AND it is my favourite colour! With polka dots! Eeeeek! Okay, so other than being beautiful, it has enough support. If you want a bathingsuit though that is like a bra, this isn't it. There is a halter neck to allow you to choose how much support you want, (or cleavage). One thing I am not too sure of though is that there is no padding, so nipples can show. I am not a big fan of that, but I'll survive. There is a seam though that you can position your nipples along it ...which hides them ish. Many people won't be able to do that though since nipples don't really have a designated spot. I am a 30G in a Freya Deco, but using bratabase, I realized the band would be too tight in the bikini if I went with a 30G, so I chose a 32FF. If they made a 32FF 1/2, that would be perfect for me. Not the right size for me. The band is OK, quite perfect. But the cups are too small. Massive quadraboob, probably need 2 cup sizes bigger, so I would need to try 32GG.
As for the rest, the bikini top is lovely. Very well made, comfy and beautiful. No complains other than size.
The classic bottom I ordered in M size was a bit too big for my EU38 size. Too much fabric for my taste and the back! It came too high in my back!
The bra is too big, I get wrinkles in the cup, which surprised me as I have the balconette in 32F and felt it wouldn't hurt if the cups were a little bigger and I've read that it sometimes works on a plunge to size up in the cups. I'm going to return it. Maybe I'll try it in 32F. It's definitely the Best bikini I ever had. The band is fine now but I hope it won't strecht too much. Beginning to wonder if I might fare better with a 30 band.
Such a nice pattern, sorry it failed to meet expectations, or even logic with measurements. :-/
