This bra definitely runs small in the cup for a 30DD (and smaller than Freya's wired swimwear). If you're between sizes, definitely take the larger. The suit is made of absolutely lovely soft foam that is basically the most perfect bikini material on the planet. Covers the nips and provides support without adding bulk! I measured the cups at around 7.5 inches deep and 5.75 inches tall. Freya's soft styles will likely fit shallower breasts the best.
I adore the colors in this bikini top. It looks beautiful on you, despite the fit issues.
The colors are absolutely stunning. It's one of the prettiest patterns I've seen ever, and I've rarely seen anything comparable. I like how it takes inspiration from the surf style suits, but still looks original not like a copy. I just wish that I had ordered it in a larger size.
That pattern is amazing! Thanks for the review, I thought that the Freya soft tops are unlined. I prefer the foam as well!
I am shallow-ish, wide rooted and I think FoB. I think this bra wants a little more projection or upper fullness than I have. I feel inadequate at the top of the cups 😕 The wires are nice and wide, wide enough for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> but I wish they were a bit longer. I like the very low gore but the outer sides of the cups seem very low too. I would say this bra is pretty full coverage.
It did not provide much lift, but it may be because I got a 30dd instead of the 28e I should wear (sold out) or maybe I just have to do the halter straps tighter. I always feel like halter straps are suffocating me but maybe it's because I've never had a swim top that fit very well before.
The material is super soft and nice! I love the black and gold pattern. It feels very grown up and classy
It fits me well (although the cup depth measurement would suggest I'd need to go down a size - however, my 30D Circus Circus Sweetheart top cuts into breast tissue at the top now, giving me quadboob), and I'd say it's generally well-suited to wide root shallow boobs. It gives mine a very nice round shape and it also looks much better in person than in pictures. The colours are much nicer, more summery than they look in photos: there are aqua, spring-green and light blue streaks in the pattern. I tried to show this in the detail shot. So far I haven't swum in it, but if it's ...as good as my Circus Circus Sweetheart Bikini top I'll be very happy with it. Edit after swimming: Okay, the band doesn't seem to be tight enough, or my books didn't stay in place for a different reason. I've shortened it now and will report back if this has worked. (My ribcage measurement was taken as tight as possible, btw., my regularly tight measurement would be about 70 cm / 27.5 inches) Read more 72 more words
The cups run very, very small. The top gives me enormous quadboob in my regular size. I wear Freya Sweetheart tops in a 30DD, and they fit me well. Freya halfcup bras fit me well in a 30D. Apart from the cups being too small, they also wrinkle unattractively along the vertical seam.
This swimsuit looks really great in person. I was hesitant to get it based on the online pictures, but it looks much better in person. The color is lovely- it's bright/bold but not tacky.
It's overall very comfortable- the band is snug for a 30. I think the cups are probably a little on the large side- I'm a pretty solid 28F right now, and it fits fine. This top gives great cleavage, without being padded (it has a foam lining though )
I think this bikini top is one or two cup sizes too small https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I'm still not sure about my true size, so not sure if this fits true to size. It doesn't look too bad though. The band is very stretchy. I would prefer a 28 in this, even though I usually wear 30 and I don't like tight bands. It's such a pretty bikini top, I love the style, the bright colors and the geometric pattern. I got the bottoms in XS. I usually wear S, but that size was sold out. XS fits fine so the bottoms may fit a little large for some.
I tried this bra in several sizes and colors before deciding to but the black 30DD. The wires of the pink 30DD hurt my ribs and I had to bend them to make the bikini top at least wearable (although not comfortable), but somehow the wires of this black bra are not as nasty and I didn't have to do any bending. The bikini fits well and looks good, especially under clothing. The bikini bottoms are cute too.
This bikini top is beautiful. I was looking for a bikini top that I can use as a bra as well. With the Freya Deco I've found it. It also looks amazing under my rash guard, and gives great cleavage but also enough coverage on the side. Works great with my shallow, full on top, center fullness. I believe it fits true to Freya bra sizes, with 30DD fitting me well. The wires are quite rigid and pointy and the tips dig into my sternum, which is pretty usual for me although not with plunge bras. The wires do sit slightly on the side part of my breasts ...(the 30E width would have been perfect), but it doesn't annoy me and looks good. I bought this bikini top in pink just to try it, and hope to find the top in their "ocean" color in 30DD. I'll be trying it in several 28 sizes as well, but they'll likely be very tight. This 30 is perfect, although for wire comfort I might go for a 32 band if I can find it. Read more 74 more words
30DD is the second out of three sizes I tried this bikini top in.
Turns out, the 30 band is unexpectedly too small. It cuts into my ribcage (my ribcage is 29" measured loosely), the underwires dig into my ribs, and the top leaves red marks against my skin even after very short periods of wear.
The cups fit well, and thus run large in my impression. As I'm usually wearing 30E as a cup size, I'd say they fit larger due to the slightly stretchy fabric and the open cups.
If in doubt or between band sizes, definitely size up in the band with this bikini. Consider a smaller cup size if you a) prefer a low-cut cup, b) don't have a 100% projected shape.
That being said, the bikini top looks nice and classy, I love the blue-ish shades and the contrasting black seams. By far one of my favourites from Freya's swimwear line.
This bikini runs small. It's a good idea to size up in either cup or band size, even if you're shallow (e.g. you're a 30DD, pick 30E or 32DD). It runs small in the cups and tight in the band.
The tight band was definitely a surprise in a Freya bikini, since that brand is known for its stretchy bra bands.
Freya's Soft Triangle Bikini Tops fit well on wide root shallow boobs and even give some nice cleavage without flattening too much.
I adore the colors in this bikini top. It looks beautiful on you, despite the fit issues.
