  1. Underwired Sports Bra (4392)

These are my first impressions after trying out my first proper-fitting sports bra. I'll update the review after a couple more runs. As this is a sports bra, I won't delve deeply into how it looks (not a big fan of the lime color) or what shape it gives under clothes (pointy but minimising, which is a plus!).

The band is quite tight, so even though I generally feel better in 28 bands, I'm really glad I chose a 30 band in this one. I could probably even get away with a 32. The band is not at all stretchy, and the closing consists of four by four ... hooks, which is quite awesome. The material itself is very soft and of an almost foam-like consistence.

The whole bra is very constricting - great when running (reduced bounce), but terribly uncomfortable when sitting down. I would never want to wear this bra during non-sport activities, but, then again, I suppose that's the point of sports bras https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I'm also very happy with the underwires - they are wide just enough and very flexible, and don't poke anywhere.

I had a bit of a problem with the center gore - it didn't lie flat against my chest, so I figured I'd need a smaller band and larger cup. However, the 30 band was really the tightest I was willing to endure, and I swam in the 30H and couldn't tighten the straps enough. In the end, I attributed this problem to the closeness of my breasts and my ever-so-slight chest hollowness, but I'm not sure... I just felt that the tightest possible band was less tight at its upper edge than at the lower one.

So, with a slight wink, I fit into a 30GG, which is my normal Freya size.

All in all, I'm glad to have at least one sports bra in my wardrobe. It's priceless for heavy-bounce activities (running), but I think it's too uncomfortbale to be worth wearing for less bouncy stuff, such as inline skating.

The band is very tight and not stretchy, especially considering this is a Freya. Order at least a band size up from your normal Freya size. The cup also is fairly small. I wear a 28H Freya Arabella and this 30GG is too small. It does feel supportive.

First time trying a Freya sports bra. After wearing the panache Sport this doesn't feel right and isn't fitted for me at all. It comes up under the arms way to high, the cup is moulded different so they sit low but still kinda swing/bounce, and it pushes out breast tissue rather than hold it in. It feels supportive, but that's just because of the stiff material. Only thing I like is that it has a J hook to convert into a racer-back. Wish I would've been able to try it on before purchasing since return shipping to UK isn't worth it. Definitely not a fan of this bra at all.

This is the first close-to-well-fitting sports bra that I have. The previous one I had was a Change compression bra that gave me a horrible case of the uniboob and that felt so tight it was kinda hard to breathe (although it did work! Just was not very comfortable).

This one feels kinda tight around the band, but overall - stable and good. Really reduces bouncing around which is good. I believe the band will stretch over time and it's better to have a more stable bra band for a sports bra (and i can always try to use a band extender for a while). I said that the comfort is "okay" because of the a-little-too-snug band, but overall it's good!

The gore doesn't tack, in fact it sits rather far away from my sternum. But as far as I tried it on, it didn't seem like too much of an issue. I yet have to see how it works while doing sports! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

The tankini is nice but I do need wires. As it's non-wired the measurements concerning cups and gore are rather rough but I did all my best

Got this bra when I was figuring out my shape and size, now I'm just using it as a sleep bra. The band seems nice and firm, but is still too big for me, but that's fine for sleeping in. The cups are filled all the way, and it cuts just a bit into my tissue at the top (My root goes very high on my chest, all the way up to my collarbone, and this bra just isn't open enough on top for me. The gore doesn't lie flat against my sternum, and when pressed closer, the cutting in is even more apparent.) a 28H or HH ... would probably work better. It isn't particularly pretty, but again, I'm just wearing it to sleep in, so that's ok. My chest feels a little compressed, but is is a sports bra, so that makes sense. If my chest grows yet again, it will probably get listed on here. (My chest seems to grow about an inch every year. It went up half an inch since I bought this bra a few months ago.) The straps are, as usual, too wide for my narrow frame, and don't adjust short enough, but they are very soft and comfy. The wires are too wide, ending on my ribcage, but since the band is too big, it isn't too noticeable most of the time. (The seam on the cup ends at the side about where my root is, the wires are quite a bit past that.) The shape is very retro and pointy, which is not particularly my favorite shape, since my breasts are rounded and I prefer a more natural, true-to-my-shape look, but again, since I'm just sleeping in it, it isn't an issue. The underarm area is nice and rounded, and doesn't cut in like many of my bras do, which is nice. Overall, despite being the wrong size and shape, it's relatively comfy for what it is.

This is very effective at keeping boobs from moving during exercise (or jumping up and down anyway!) It is Very pointy, but is soft and doesn't seem like it would irritate the skin.
The band is firm with 4 hook and eyes.

Visually it is appealing; i like the black and red colourway.
