  1. Underwired Sports Bra (4492)

This is the best sports bra I have tried so far, but it is unfortunately too small (when I purchased it, I was a 28G and was quad-boobing already, and I have since gone up a size) .

I really wanted this to work , as it keeps me from jiggling at all, which is witchcraft, but the cups are too small, so I am quad-boobing a little bit out of the the top and sides of the cup and the centre gore does not tack, and the wires under my underarms overlap my breast tissue a little bit.

I think this bra is made for full on ... bottom breasts, as although I am quadboobing at the top and the gore does not lay flat, I still have a little bit of extra room unless I fiddle a whole bunch and sort of jam myself in.

The bra does not poke anywhere, but like all sports bras the compression gives me some upper back aching.

The band fits quite true to size. There are four hooks in the back, which I think helps with holding everything in. The shape of the cups is truly bizarre, but it seems to hold my breasts in place remarkably well, which is the key feature in a sports bra.

I cannot give an accurate assessment this bra because I cannot even get it on without hurting myself. The back does not open completely, and having such a small band size makes it impossible to get on over my head and shoulders. Can't pull it on from the bottom because it won't stretch over my hips. Horrible design, IMO.

On the hunt for a bra to wear casually (not necessarily as a sports bra), this is actually pretty great. I feel like everything is well tucked in and reasonably supported. I do feel like the edges of the bra are a little harsh - though perhaps that would go away once I got used to wearing it. As a sports bra, it is low/medium impact at best for me (nothing compared to the support of my Enell bras).

But, despite all it's good qualities, I won't be keeping it. I don't love the shape it gives me, and it's not quite comfortable enough for me to want to wear it regularly. Plus, the lack of gore (of any sort) is annoying and there isn't anything I love about it enough to redeem that.

I have this one in beige (my other two were in black and white, different cup sizes but same band size). The band feels tighter than in the other colorways - I got an extender for it. Otherwise it fits in the usual manner (can't fill the top of the cup) but is still very supportive and comfortable.

  7. Underwired Sports Bra (4392)

I've never owned an underwired sports bra before, but this one is great. I expected it to poke but it doesn't at all and the fit is great. I'm at the smaller end of my cup size and it fits perfectly, so I'd say the cups run half a size or so small. The band is also tight. My underbust measures 25" and in a 28 back this fits nice and snugly on the loosest hook.

I personally don't feel I get quite as much support from an encapsulation bra as a compression bra, but the support is more comfortable and it's nice to have two boobs rather than ... one. Really I'm just nit-picking because the support is still excellent and there's barely any movement even when I'm running - it's more that I'm still aware of my boobs when exercising in this, whereas I can forget about them in my Shock Absorbers.

It covers quite a lot of my chest, which is to be expected, but not as much as the wire free version does. The wires are far wider than on everyday Freya bras, but, despite my shape being quite up front, I haven't found this to be a problem. The cup shape is slightly pointy, but it looks quite natural to me and I am perfectly comfortable wearing it in public. The material wicks sweat away quite effectively, but I find I still get a bit sweaty around the centre gore.

I have two complaints with this bra. The straps are only partly adjustable and I've had them on the tightest setting since the bra was new. This is fine for now, but if they stretch at all I'm going to have to do some sewing. The rest of the strap is slightly cushioned, which I appreciate, but I wish they'd done the same with the hooks because I find these dig in if you do any exercises lying down.
