The first thing I notice about this bra is how narrow the wires are for a Fantasie. I'm guessing I have only ever tried the Fantasie Side-Support models, which have wider wires. I have narrow roots and projected breasts with soft tissue, and am close-set with centre fullness. This bra does not quite fit me. The gore floats and wires sit on my centre breast tissue, so there is not enough depth at the gore. The cups are fairly deep at the apex but oddly shaped, and they still manage to give my breasts an east-west appearance. The seams don't round out the breast but make an odd angled shape. The band is more snug than other Fantasies I have tried.
Gorgeous bra, but the lace at the top is NOT stretch at all, and as such it has little flexibility for a little bit more fullness on top - it warped my breast tissue into weird shapes due to shallowness in weird places! Maybe a cup size up would help, but I can't find it anywhere.
I needed nude bras so I bought two Fantasie bras on eBay. The Ivana is pretty and lacy with embroidery. The oyster color was more cream than nude, but still serves my purposes. When it arrived, I was a little worried that it was going to fit like my Pour Moi St. Tropez bra, which is more of a bullet shape that I don't love. Thankfully this bra has a rounded shape, not a pointy/bullet shape. It was supportive and well made. It gave me the comfort and support I get from my Elomi and Panache bras, but without the tightly pressing underwire of my Panache Cleo bras. ...It also had a decent tack, though not quite as good as the Cleos. I have very close-set breasts and getting a good tack is a challenge.
I wore the bra all day yesterday and it stayed in place and was comfortable even after 10 hours of wear. The support was great and I could feel my posture shift while wearing it because it was actually keeping me well-lifted. Some of my bras are getting a little worse for wear, so I really noticed the difference when wearing the Ivana.
Note: I am a 38GG and this bra is a 38G. So the cups run a size big. Be sure to check measurements before buying or go up a size if you're in the DD+ range.

*UPDATE: I've had this bra for a few weeks and I love it. It's my most comfortable bra right now (aside from a no-wire bra that I got from Cacique a year ago). I wish I could still get this bra in other colors. I've only been able to find the oyster colorway in my size. It's supportive and very comfortable. Read more 190 more words
