The bra is a lovely shade of pink, but I'm usually not so keen on netting-type material for cups. The material is coarse and underwiring goes quite high up the sternum, so it was leaving red marks and irritating me at first. After a bit of wearing in, this no longer seems to be a problem for me, but I'd advise anyone with ribcage-depth-problems to be careful with this one. I now find the bra entirely comfortable. Even if the material of the bra is not my favourite, I LOVE the shape of it. It has a lot of lift and I'd recommend it for anyone who likes the ...kind of bra that is more prominent side-on. What else? The material around the top is sometimes a bit loose depending on my movements, mostly due to the fact that my breasts are not so full on the top. It's not really a problem though.
Update: My measurements changed in a short time and now the band rides up all the time and drives me crazy, even on the tightest hook (not due to stretching - I haven't worn it out enough for that). I still really love the shape though, so I'll be trying to take the band in and make it tighter. Read more 102 more words
Why o why did I wait so long to try Fantasie bras? I had assumed when Freya balcony bras no longer fit me properly the same would hold true for Fantasie as they are their sister brand - I was so wrong! The shapes Fantasie makes just work for my bottom heavy, teardrop breasts... and the Evie is no exception!
This bra is essentially the same shape as the Vivienne balcony which I also love. The colour is beautiful, and the lace is stunning too. I just love the way it looks and the shape it gives. I like the look of this style of bra best from the Fantasie lineup... although I think I prefer the shape given by Fantasie side support bras. I would say this shape is a little more 'pointed', whereas the side support bras give a slightly more rounded shape. I do love both though!
This is my best fitting bra. Lovely lifted rounded shape, no wrinkles, no rubbing. The fabric is a lovely spotty black lace overlying teal. Tops of cups feature lace with botanic embroidery and nice substantial geometric lace trim in teal.
This bra fits well, except that the band is a bit too big. When I initially measured myself after years of wearing too-small cups, I don't think I measured the band tight enough. That plus a little bit of weight loss means I am now strictly in the 34 bandsize. So, I stitched over part of the band so it wouldn't stretch as much and it has made a huge difference!
This bra does not give nearly as much uplift as I'd like, but it is super comfortable so it's staying in the arsenal. It's a great bra to throw on when I'm lounging at home and don't necessarily care about my profile.
