    Didn't fit

I'm going to preface my next four reviews with a few points:
-I ordered these bras at the BF sale, which was well over two months ago
-my breasts have had a lot of growth lately
-I knew, thanks to several BtB users and their suggestions (but I'd like to shout-out to Mamapagan for her phenomenal amount of help, time, and insights) that none of these bras would fit due to what Mamapagan and I are dubbing as the Teapot Effect.

    Teapot Effect Explanation:
Because my breasts are large, pendulous, and Omega shaped, it can be a little difficult to gauge one's correct size. So while it may seem like a too-small ... bra works, it still has some somewhat manageable fit issues. My breasts can "fit" into a J cup just fine, right? But here's what's really happening. The cup is lifting only a portion of my tissue (important to remember the REST of my tissue isnt even in the cup) which still gives me that signature EM rounded look. But the cups soon begin to sag under the weight of my breasts. In turn, this causes my band to slide up my back and the underwires on my bras to slide down and dig into my ribcage. Finally, my excess tissue that was never in the cup to begin with, starts to escape from the tops of my cups, much like pouring tea from a teapot. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    Onwards to the review!

Yikes. I didn't like the look of this bra one bit. I had a lot of pinched tissue going on again, despite the depth measuring at 15" (fun fact, this is the deepest bra that I own). The adjustable strap details were super... Weird. They're difficult to adjust and they sit odd as well. I did my best for photos, but I still don't think they're 100% where they need to be sitting. I don't know why the one cup is wrinkling towards the gore. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can shed some light for me? I was wearing this bra on its tightest hookset and I still felt like it was big, but, again, not surprising since I'm measuring a ≈27.5ish for my band measurement anymore.

The cup looks like it's collapsing under the weight of the breasts, maybe because the cups are too small and the band is too big? The wires also look really wide.

You don’t have enough center room in this bra. Happens to me all the time. You probably need more space in the middle there.

    • That could be. Maybe my fit issues with my BM's are just way more noticeable in an SM shape haha?
You know, I noticed that! Might have to compare them!

    • cupandahalf Ahh! Gotcha. Thanks for the tip :)

DerangedDragons19 I totally agree with cupandahalf - not enough projection at the gore. Welcome to our club.

    • 2

Your club stinks! AprilGoulding I want out 😂😂 just kidding, but seriously, I wasn't aware I had that problem!

    • yup. It stinks in terms of bra fit. I need projection all around the wires - not just at the bottom. Stretch lace is my best friend, hence why I LOVE BMs soooooo much.

    • 1

Hm. Sounds that way. I love the stretch lace too. So forgiving 😁

Awe, I feel so loved! 💕
The ability to see what's going on in the cup is a plus to the SM style. I think the cup doesn't have enough space all together, not just the gore though. Your poor boobs are so squished they are being pinched. Ouchie. 😬😖

MamaPagan definitely a huge plus. I can see much better how my breasts fit (or don't fit) in the cups. It just makes me stop and cringe about my 65J BM's. Yikes.

Darn deceptive cups on those non-sheer bras! 😬😖😬😖😬

      Right haha?!

I get those wrinkles all the time. It sucks being short rooted in a tall root world- by the time you get enough room in the center you’ve run out of cup letters and the top of the bra is all flappy. I have not been able to do Ewa Michalak or Panache at all because of that, no full cups, no half cups because of the lack of center room in them...and it’s a greater problem in smaller band large cup sizes because the grading isn’t what you need in Curvy Kate, my best UK brand. Maybe look into Comexim plunges? But then you have strap trubs. It’s a conundrum.

    • 1

Well dang it. I laughed at your use of "flappy". 😂
I'm not sure if I can manage a plunge at this point in the game. I tried one (mind you, it was closer to probably two years ago) from Comexim and the cup came up super high and I wasn't able to properly fill the top which left a lot of weird gapping. Not only that, but because my left and larger side is so soft, I was essentially falling out of the front anyway 🤷

    • And then there's the wing completely in the armpit..... 😬😖😬

    • 2

Full coverage includes the armpit too!

    • But why? 😖 I tell you if they had lower wings on most of my bras, I wouldn't have as many issues with the side curve sawing at the arm/armpit. 😖

    • 2

      I was being sarcastic 😀

Why? Because these models were probably developed by scaling it mathematically and never tested on a person.

    • 2

Sarcasm only works when it's not true though! 😄😖😬😖😄

    • 1

      Smaller cups, bigger band? 🙃

    • 1

      Haha, that's a viable solution! 😄
