For some reason I thought this would be a little less full coverage than it is. It's still a very pretty bra and I like the red color. This is my first unpadded bra from Ewa Michalak .
I ordered this in a 75K because I have found that in the S cut a 75K fit pretty well. The SM is supposed to be the unpadded version of the S, so I thought it would be okay. It is a smidge too big (though I had just nursed shortly before trying it on so perhaps it'll fit better under normal circumstances). In the Pl style I have ...found that a 75JJ fit best.
The wires are lovely and narrow, just like the S and Pl cuts. The mesh material is quite comfortable and the lace on the upper part of the cups is stretchy and still soft. I feel like I am pretty well supported. The band fits a little firm, which I like since I normally wear a 32 band in UK bras. I found that the straps felt way, way too loose at first when I put this on. I had to tighten them almost the entire way to the front to get this to wear the straps didn't sag. There was a slight ruffle to the top edge of the cups where I can't quite fill it out. Edited to add: I tightened them completely and the bra fits now.
It is quite a full coverage bra, which is okay. I would prefer it to be a little lower, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I think it comes up a bit higher on my breasts than the S does. Read more 178 more words
My bra fairy sent me a big package of Ewa's BM and SM bras; most were new or in like-new condition. She threw in this one as a freebie. It's seen more wear than the others, and I will probably not add measurements for it since it's been stretched out a bit, but I still wanted to review it.
MY SHAPE: Narrow, projected, short roots, close set, center full, even fullness (technically FOT but my short roots make me appear even most of the time)
FIT: I'm glad I got 3 SM bras at once so I know that this bra is the problem and not that style. For some ...reason, even though I get a great fit with the 75G - Ewa Michalak » Sm Motylowate (562) and 75G - Ewa Michalak » Sm Burek (430) , this one insists on quadding on my larger side. Everything else about the fit is spectacular, but ol' lefty just tries to overflow. I tried un-scooping and swooping a bit, I tried loosening the strap until it almost falls off, but I just can't get it to work. At first I thought it wasn't a problem, because it really doesn't look that bad without a shirt on, but with a shirt it's lumpy and painfully obvious. It's really a shame, this is quite a nice bra otherwise. The band feels great, although a bit loose since it's been broken in already. The straps are fine, not too wide set. The cup material is soft and not itchy. The lace is not stretchy.
It's maddening for me that it doesn't fit - once I found my "true" bra size and discovered Polish lingerie, I've had extraordinarily good luck with buying new bras, and almost everything has fit. On paper, this should fit - other SM bras in the same size are perfection - but no matter what I adjust this one keeps quadding on the left. Infuriating. I guess everyone gets some clunkers occasionally, right?
APPEARANCE/QUALITY: The red is a really nice true red, it doesn't read as pink as some bras do. The band is made of a very soft material, and overall this is a very pretty and well-made bra. I feel like this goes without saying if you've seen pictures or read Ewa's description, but the cups are 100% sheer and transparent. If my nipples didn't line up exactly with the seam junction, you would see every detail.
OVERALL: It's quite pretty and sexy, so even though the fit isn't perfect I'll probably hold onto it for special occasions.
UPDATE: I managed to fit into this one day last week without quadding and wore it under a t-shirt, and it gave the most unflattering shape I've ever seen in an Ewa Michalak bra. I assume it was because of how much I had to loosen the straps, everything just looked much lower and downward-pointing than normal with this flatness at the apex... not a great look. I'll definitely be passing this one on. Read more 401 more words
Fits the same as my other sheer SMs in the same size. The lace lining the cup's upper portion has a bit more stretch and elasticity to it than some other models which have non-flexible lace and therefore require very precise sizing, so I imagine this one would better accommodate a range in shapes and upper fullness. The color is a deep, saturated, blue-based cherry red which I think really "pops" against all range of skin tones. In combination with the sheerness, the color gives this bra a bit of a risqué appearance while still looking elegant and of very good quality construction, like all EM bras. The bra is overall very very comfortable, and the tulle used on the cups feels softer against the skin than that used on my Czarna Mgielka, Wanilla or Kusidelko.
Overall this bra fits very well! There is a little bit of spillage with one of the cups, but it's no real issue. This was my first time ordering from Ewa Michalak, so next time I'll be sure to order just a cup size bigger. I have nothing bad to say about it, it's the best fitting bra I've ever had, the gore tacks perfectly, the support is amazing. I love it.
