As soon I got this baby home, I snapped a pic of it and sent it to the boyfriend with the caption, "I hope you like this, because it's never coming off my body." Holy moly, what a gorgeous bra. The pics online truly do not do it justice. The cups have a similar lace pattern as the Ewa Michalak Pl Orange (545) , but this one feels more subtle and, in my opinion, better -- likely because the pattern is the same color as the rest of the lace. The metallic sheen is not obnoxious at all, and can only be noticed as metallic in ...certain light. The bra is almost luminescent. Words may be failing me, but trust when I say it's GORGEOUS.
As for sizing, I agree with a previous review that the band is very stretchy. I tend to run somewhere between a 75 and 80 in EM bands, and this feels just a touch too loose than I'd prefer it starting out. It doesn't ride up, praise be to Ewa, but it doesn't feel as firm as I'd like it. The cups fit true to size for an S model. The straps, a gorgeous mint green, which play perfectly with the aqua blue of the cups, are fully adjustable -- thank you EM! I hope she keeps up making her straps fully adjustable, as they are appreciated.
I also bought the matching briefs with this, and they run TTS for other EM panties I've purchased. The fit is closer to a short than brief. If you're debating whether or not to get the matching panty, honestly I'd say to pass. They're fine and comfortable and all that, but I wish they had more of the beautiful lace rather than being mostly the matte fabric on the band of the bra. I don't regret buying them, but EM has done better.
This bra is stunning! It would be perfect if only for two things: 1. The band runs very big. I have another S style in a 70 band and it fits perfectly and is very snug on the loosest hooks. This band seems very loose even on the tightest hookhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> It's a good 3 inch difference between the two bras (both with a 70 band). The only other issue is it seems like the straps are wider set and are just a little too wide for my small frame. I will be selling this one and ordering it in a 65, and maybe even requesting the straps be moved in.
ORIGINAL REVIEW OCTOBER 2015: Never in my life have I experienced a more perfect fit. (My boobs = narrow root, soft tissue, close-set.) The band is on the stretchy side, which works for me in this model since I'm really between a 65 and 70 band. If you're between two band sizes, go with the lower-band sister size in this model.
My best bra to date has been the Ewa S Truskawki Z Malinami (the red one with the strawberry decoration) in 65FF. It's still going strong, but lately it's started to feel too shallow. I used to wear it with the pads, but a few months ago ...I took the pads out, and the fit improved. Then it started to feel shallow even without the pads, so I ordered a cup size up. I'm 30, so I doubt my boobs are still growing--maybe the dreaded tissue migration? I did start wearing well-fitting bras about a year ago.
Anyway, this bra fits like a dream. I left the pads in for structure, but I can wear it either way. Tacking gore, perfect smooth line at the top of the cups -- I forgot what that looked like, I've had quad-boob in all my bras for so long!
It's a gorgeous bra, too. I love the aqua color, which looks great on me and goes with a lot of my clothes. The entire cup is covered in embroidered lace, which is beautiful if sometimes annoying to pair with clothing (definitely not a T-shirt bra--but invisible under a structured woven dress shirt or a heavy knit).
EDIT MAY 2017: I've grown! This is too shallow for me now. Stilllll growing. Read more 171 more words
This is a very pretty bra, however, it isn't the right shape for me. Wires are too narrow for sure. I'm not sure that EM is my brand. I didn't try it with the asymmetry pads because I don't have them. Howeve, I'm not sure they would have helped the fact that the wires keep slipping.
This bra is gorgeous! Super soft wings and nice, narrow underwire. The band feels very true to size. It has pads that can be removed, if needed. I love this bra, but it's too small for me. It has never been worn, only tried on.
I have to say finding Ewa Michalak has been quite the blessing. I've never had such selection. Normally I wear about a 38-40 I cup in Prima Donna however I measured myself and plugged the measurements into the Ewa Michalak calculator which came up with size. It fits fairly decent the band is far stretcher than the other Ewa Michalak bras so much that I would consider going down in band size to a 90. Also the centre gore doesnt fit flush on me so in all likehood I should be wearing a 90 GG or H in this bra. Even though the fit isn't optimal it ...still is quite comfortable, supportive and absolutely gorgeous. The quality of the lace overlay the small details its simply well made. Plus with bras usually costing $150-$200 for me individually these are a steal at just under $80 if bought and shipped individually.
On a separate note these have a matching thong and Ewa Michalaks thongs don't disappoint. I have some scar tissue on my one hip from a car accident and often struggle to find panties that will sit on the hip. They sit really nice theyre comfortable beautiful everything I was looking for. So happy to have this gem back in my rotation. See my review of the 75H for more details. I sold my 75H, and purchased the 70HH, as the band runs big in this one. Cups are TTS for EM, but definitely size down in the band.
