    Fits

Lato (Summer) is a discontinued CH cut from 2012.
The color is a neutral creamy beige plastered with bright coral peonies (Are they peonies? They're peonies, I want them to be peonies). Most of the stems and leaves on the flowers are a taupey grey color, but here and there are splashes of turquoise. The cups are topped with beige lace edging with a turquoise ribbon running through it. The bra is finished off with turquoise ribbons at the gore and the straps.
The turquoise accents are the same color as my Turkusik briefs (I butchered the bra). It makes for a fun complementing set.

The band is nice and snug ... in my usual 65. No digging in and no riding up on the loosest of three sets of eyes.
The straps are only half adjustable, but they are also short so this doesn't pose much of a problem. The front half is the same material as the bra and they're well cushioned. The back is a heavily embroidered beige. The sliders are a little difficult to move over so much texture, but they stay put.
The wires are nice and narrow, they sit where they should and stay where they should. Very comfy.
The cups provide a projected and round shape. A great representation of the CH shape. Much like my 65E - Ewa Michalak » Chp Brzoskwinka (301) , the cups are borderline small. Again I get some bubbling over the cup, but it is not visible under clothing and not real evident without a shirt. If I had any upper fullness I couldn't wear this one either.
There are no pockets for pads in this bra, but again like Brzoskwinka, I couldn't wear them anyway.

I absolutely love this bra and I have to thank vesela_krava for adding it to my drawer.

    Didn't fit

This is the second bra I received from jlcl119, along with my BM Fluo. Thank you! The Lato is one of the bras I remember being on Ewa's website when I first discovered them (and apparently that was SS2012, so it's been 7 years now... holy moly), so I of course had to get my hands on it when I saw it listed, despite it being two band sizes too large.

As for the appearance, I think it's super cute. The cups and band are made of a satiny floral print on a beige base with a thin blue and beige lacey trim on the ... top of the cups, and matching blue bows at the gore and straps. The front half of the straps are made of the same patterned floral fabric. As for the fit, it's not ideal, and I'm definitely considering passing it on to someone else. The band is obviously too big, which I expected, but the cups are a tad shallow at the apex, and the gore doesn't tack on me. When I press the gore onto my sternum, I do get a fair amount of quadboob happening. I don't think the cups have quite enough depth for me, and I think the poor fit would become exacerbated if I shortened the band to a proper length for me. I do feel like I'm on the larger end of the spectrum for my usual size right now, so I can't say for sure whether it would fit better if I lost a little volume or not.

Really, my only reason for keeping this bra would be because the matching thong is so damn cute and fits me so well! I'm torn on whether to keep the set together for posterity (it is seven years old after all, so the new owner wouldn't be able to find matching bottoms anywhere if that's something they would want) or to separate the two by selling the bra and keeping the thong for myself. Then again, the thong is a size 34(6) (basically an XS), so maybe they wouldn't fit the new owner anyway. Argh!

Anyway, super cute, doesn't really fit me, thankful for the opportunity to have tried it lol.

Such a gorgeous pattern. I love the turquoise accents.

It’s really cute and I looked at it too, but knew that it would not fit. I am sorry it’s not an ideal fit for you.

    • 1

This floral pattern is so pretty. Sorry it did not work.

    • 1

That's really cute, sorry it didn't work.

Love these colors, thanks for the good review.

    • 2

It's so pretty and I wish it fit you better, hell I wish it fit *me* better!

If you have another bra that thong would work with I'd encourage you to keep it, it's so pretty and EM 34s are a rarity :)

    • 2

Weeping. I am weeping. That bra is gorgeous AND you have a matching thong in XS?! She won't make me bottoms in xS. If that bra was my size, I'd be begging you for it. I would list the bra and if the purchaser asked about matching pants, and is willing to pay, then you may have to sell as the set. But many people don't care or won't fit an XS anyway.

  3. I love this bra! I just received it and it felt pretty much perfect when I put it on. This is the first Ewa Michalak that I've tried. The half-cup design works perfectly for me and really gives me a front and center look with great lift which can be difficult as I am bottom heavy and wide-set. The band is a smidge loose but since there are four columns of hooks and eyes I am still good using the third instead of the fourth. If use the forth the wires are a smidge narrow. One thing that I'm happy about is that the wing seems to be ... taller than on Freya or Cleo bras which is something that I need to avoid boobs escaping out the side. The straps also seem to be better placed in the back as they seem closer together and run beside my shoulder blades instead of over them. The straps don't fully adjust as the front of the strap is the same fabric as the bra. They also don't seem to slip because of the raised embroidery on the adjustable portion

The design is lovely to look at and it works well under both t-shirts and woven shirts.

  4. I really like this bra. It's my first Ewa Michalak halfcup, and I can't believe how fabulous it is. The shape it gives is amazing, the material is incredibly comfortable, it looks so beautiful and light - hey, I can't remember the last time I found a girly, powdery floral, vintage inspired bra in my size! This will definitely go straight to my favourites list. If there's anything negative, it's perhaps the straps. They are very soft, they feel very comfortable, actually so much so that I'm wondering just how much they will stretch with wear. ...or then I'm just being a pessimist. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" ... alt=":)" /> All in all, a great bra.

Edit: Well, I've gained some weight, and unfortunately it's all gathered into my already nicely shaped rump and ample bosom. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> So right now I'm spilling slightly over the topd of the cups. The stretching I mentioned in my first rewiew did happen, although not in the straps but in the band, which is now a bit too loose. I have it on the last hook and it still rides up a bit. Shame, for the bra still feels great on.

    Didn't fit

Unfortunately, this bra runs small in the cup so it doesn't really fit me very well. This was true of my 65E as well. I was hoping it was just that bra but perhaps it's an issue with Lato in general.
Lato is pretty old at this point. I got this one from another user who I'm sure got it from yet another person, so it's been well loved and it's still in excellent shape.

As for the bra itself, it has wonderfully narrow and comfortable wires. The straps are only half adjustable, which presents issues for me most of the time, but these ones are also pretty short so I ... have no trouble with them. The materials are soft and the band is comfortable since the too small cups takes up the extra looseness I would otherwise experience with it.

When CHPs are too small for me they crush my breasts and I feel really confined, so for now this sits lonely in my drawer. I've worn it once or twice when all my other bras are dirty but it's an awful look on me and it isn't terribly comfortable.
In reality, I should relist it here but Lato is one of my favorite patterns ever and I was heartbroken when I had to sell my other one. I'm going to save this one for now just in case, even though my size doesn't actually fluctuate very much.

As stated in my previous review, I got this bra because the size I wanted (30G) was sold out and they only ones available were in a 30FF and a 30GG. It's a beautiful bra, so I bought both because this was my first CH style and I figured one of them might fit...

Anyways, this bra is soo close to fitting that I 'm probably going to end up keeping it. There's a tiny bit of quad-boob effect going on but it's barely noticeable. Most weeks of the month, I shouldn't be spilling over too much in this bra. The band is looser than usual (already fastened ... on the tightest hook), though, but I can work with that. I like the shape more than the PL styles. My breasts are up and center forward, but they don't look crazy big in profile like the PL styles do to me.

I've said before, but the design is so pretty... The color makes a nice contrast against a brown skin tone. I would've been happiest with a 30G, but seeing as how there weren't any left, this is good enough.

  7. As someone who is: narrow, projected, very FOB, very center-heavy, widely-spaced, splayed, low-set, and short rooted, this bra is my daily workhorse. I adore this bra and I would be lost without it. It fits perfectly for my difficult shape! I get a little bit of gapping on my smaller side and I think the gore could be a smidge wider for me, especially considering my incredible center-fullness. My only complaint is that it is VERY visible underneath clothing, but I am very sad that the manufacturer doesn't make this particular version of the CHP anymore because it's absolutely a gem.

  8. This bra is fantastic! It's adorable and the best technically fitting bra I own. The brand is quite firm and I do wish Ewa would figure out a way to distribute the weight all throughout the band rather than just through the elastic. Other than that the bra is very comfy and the shape is fantastic. If you nee narrow wires, room for bottom fullness, and cups that are close together you should certainly check it out.

When I bougth this bra last year, it fitted almost perfectly, the cups were just a bit small but still wearable. Today the cups are far too small, even though the cleavage is impressivehttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />, the edge cuts into the breast tissue, and I feel that some breast tissue stays behind the underwires. Comparing to the other CH bras, this one have the smallest cups, the edge is very closed and the underwires very narrow. Everything else is perfect in this bra - it's very beautiful, the band is perfect and the straps very comfortable.

    • Hello! I apologize if this is really weird or inappropriate, but do you still have this bra? Would you be interested in selling it?

    • Hi, I don't think asking is inappropriate ;-) I still have this bra but I don't consider selling it for the moment because I love the design and I still wear it in "smaller" days :-)

    • I completely understand! It is such a beautiful and rare bra that I just had to ask, haha! :)

    • Hey! I'm also going to hit you up for this bra, any desire to rehome it?
