I knew Empreinte bras ran large in the cups, but didn't know by how much. It is so unfortunate that there were no measurements or reviews in this size range on Bratabase or anywhere else. This one is labelled 32C and fits like a 32D. So I should've gone for 32D, because this one is too small. Now I know that in this size range the cups run 1 cup size bigger than we'd expect. This is a moulded seamless minimalist bra.The fabric is thin but looks like it can take a lot of wear and tear, not see through. A thin unlined T-shirt bra with narrow and projected cups. The shape would be ideal for me, but need to size up. The band is high quality elastic - the best band quality I have ever seen in a bra, TTS - the whole bra looks like it could last forever, perfect for everyday comfy casual wear. Would recommend for short roots, projected narrow shapes. Goes to listings.
Band is a standard 32 very high quality elastic, not very stretchy. Three piece cup, the material very firm - the alternative of a moulded cup, no extra padding. I suppose, more depth is achieved with this construction. Unfortunately the cups are too narrow and small for me, probably by one cup size. I read as much as I could about sizing and got the impression that one needed to size down. Well, this one does not run that large in the cups, FR 80C roughly corresponds to a 32D standard UK size. I don't know what the fit would be in a cup size up, but guessing that this plunge wouldn't be ideal for my shape. The cups push the breasts up and together, not a great idea for centre full shapes. The gore is wide and short. The bra would be suitable for narrow and projected shapes.
