    Didn't fit

The Meredith bra is similar in cut to the 32J - Elomi » Tia Bandless Bra (4280) but with a full band. I don't own a black bra that fits me currently so I was curious about this new style. I can say that it fits me better than the Tia bra but the issues here are similar it's just not as bad. The wires are too wide and they stretchy quite a bit because they are softer than on some other Elomi bras I tried. This is not good for me. I don't get any side gaping in this bra just a little bit of ... wrinkling. It is also not as tall as the Tia. I like the stretchy lace on the cups in this bra. It does not cut in and fits nicely. Honestly from the front it looks quite good…

In terms of support, I think that Elomi bras are always very supportive. The materials are high quality and sturdy. But with this bra the support was lacking a bit (I imagine that it will feel more supportive if the wires would be at a better position) and I'm sure this bra could so much more if it wasn't incompatible with my shape.

    • Wow. With the Tia you already described, this one buids an intriguing case.

Or Elomi favors large torsos or it uses a specific size chart.

Front view, the straps run inwards at the shoulders while on the back they look ok. So after all it's maybe just a letter or 2 too large after all ?

Those are very voluminous cups. Got me curious, went around on catalogs but couldn't spot such wide sideways excursion.

And since Elomi is part of the huge Wacoal, chances to reach the advice hotline are slim...

Nevertheless here are some phone contact details:

I think that 32HH could be a bit small, it would depend how much extra room the stretchy lace allows. I don't think that I less space at the front, it's just fine but I need less width at the sides. I don't think I could go any smaller than 32HH.

FOB/Projected shape. Outside top of cups are baggy, outside bottom near wire has wrinkles. Cups/gore feels like it's a little too tall for my chest. Shape does not look flattering to me, especially under a top.

    Fits

Meredith is based on the Morgan, and therefore fits very similarly. The fabric is quite different, however, being more of a sturdy, thick, solid colored fabric. It has what ti calls pinhole mesh, which is supposed to make it more breathable. It's not particularly pretty, but it is quite comfortable.

Something interesting is going on at the gore, however. I think all the Elomis I have measured (a lot) have had a 0.75 cup separation. Meredith is narrower, at 0.6. Not the wires themselves, but the wire channels actually overlap just a bit! This is good news for center-full ladies! Another interesting structural feature, also found in the Charley, is that the band is not continuous. There are two separate elastic pieces that cross at the gore, but do not attach to the opposite cups. Rather, there is a piece of vertical boning in the gore, and the band elastics attach to that. This leads to a higher, more V-shaped arch in the gore, which I found more comfortable.

    Fits

I bought the Elomi Meredith bra second hand in size UK34H in the color saharah (beige). This is my holy grail as the bra is comfortable & give my FOB, pendulous breasts a good appearance.
The straps are adjustable all the way, the lace panel on the unlined cups are soft to the skin & not itchy. When I wear it, my breasts have a slightly pointy shape.

    Didn't fit

Update 2: So it turns out I'm also high-set and omega-shaped (which is also a vertical trait!). Apparently this bra was too big and low-set for me, and that's why the wire slipped down. It's pretty comfortable even being too big, but it's not the most, uh, modest to wear as a teacher. I had much better luck with the shorter Elomi Lydia Bandless Bra (EL4390) and 36HH - Elomi » Etta Bandless Bra (8840). The 36HH - Elomi » Carmen Plunge Bra (4010) is also good, but a little snugger and definitely not good for FOT or possibly even shapes! ...

Update 1: after wearing this a few more times all day, I’m less enthusiastic about the fit. The immediate projection isn’t quite enough, so the underwires slip down a lot and I have to make frequent bathroom trips to scoop, swoop, and shimmy. It’s still very comfortable and fits better than most bras I’ve tried, but it’s not as good as I hoped. The fit and material are fairly similar to the Elomi Mia, though this fits me a bit better. I’m still on the hunt for a bra that 100% fits!

This is probably the most comfortable bra I have tried on yet! And it fits just about perfectly, too, even on my ultra close-set gore area! The fit feels extremely similar to the 36J - Elomi » Tia Bandless Bra (4280) except without the outer upper cup wrinkling and gapping—succsss!!! Like the Tia, the gore tacks perfectly (maybe even better) and the wire marks after removing it hit exactly where my underarm mammary tissue sits. And seriously, even sitting, it's incredibly comfortable.

The fit is also very similar to my 38GG - Elomi » Matilda Plunge Bra (8900) and 36J - Elomi » Eugenie Plunge (EL4470) bras, but with a much narrower gore. I'm not sure the wires are actually any narrower than either, but they sit perfectly where they are because the gore is in the right place. Words can't express how nice it is to have the gore and outer wires in the right place! The fabric isn't soft, but it's a supportive satin-type material that reminds me a lot of the Elomi Energise Underwire Sports (8040) . It's just a boring, serviceable, comfortable black bra, but the lace trim is a nice detail. It provides a decent shape and a good amount of support, again similar to the Eugenie. I think it might make me a smidge rounder than the Eugenie, but I haven't compared.

The one thing I'm not sure about with this bra is whether it has quite enough immediate projection. It seemed good while standing and walking around, but the wires slipped down a bit while I was sitting slouched just before taking it off, so the marks were about an inch under my IMF. I'll have to try it again later.
