Very pretty bra, though not for me. Beautiful red color, nicely full coverage.
Wires are VERY wide, too wide for me. Cups are too small, the gore is floating very far.

Pretty comfortable, no poking whatsoever but the band is too wide on me. So I pinched the gore after it was stretched out some, and now it's much better again. Still, no perfect fit for me.

*edit* I've now added a picture clothed. You can see how terrible the gore fit is on it: the top of the gore sticks out through my shirt!

    Hasn't set fit

This style is a good fit for me and provides a nice shape. plunge and balcony style seem to fit my boobs' shape best, but this one works okay. the bra is well made , but i do not consider it as 'pretty'. straps are solid and wide and do not dig into my shoulders. gore sits perfectly flat on my sternum and the under-wires do not dig into my armpits. 8 hours of comfy, and not comfy enough to sleep in, (for me, that is the ultimate comfort test - can i sleep in it comfortably?). this is a full coverage cup. i am not very fond of the bottom of the right cup, however. the fabric on the under-wire "rolls up" a bit for some weird reason. sewing defect, i suspect.

    Fits

This is certainly my most comfortable every-day bra. I have 5 of them now, that should tell you something!
It's great in full coverage, which I like. All of the breast tissue fits inside the cup, the wires come up pretty high. On my body that is not a problem.
It comes in a lot of pretty colours. I have 3 purple ones, a saphire blue and a nude. I saw other fun colours recently as well.
It lifts the girls to where they should be and make me look so much better, clothes fit better too.
Bought the first ones in 2010, recently got the 3 purple ones in January of 2012.
I get about a year out of these bra's, with weekly washing (machine gentle, hang to dry). As soon as it's necessary to go to the tighter hooks it's pretty much time to replace them. I hope Elomi keeps making these bra's for a long time to come.

This Raspberry was soooo different from the other three 42K Caitlyn's I had. The wires were the same length but were close to 2 inches wider! I sometimes wonder if I had unknowingly acquired a side support version of the Caitlyn, guess I will never know. The wires were almost at my back so this was obviously going to be too big.

The Caitlyn was a staple for me up to 2014 as I didn't know what other brands were out there that were more suitable for me. Up until that time, I bought 42K's because I didn't think anything else out there had enough cup volume and were supportive. I put this on recently and could not believe that I once thought this bra used to look good on me. I have lost about 15lbs since 2014 so that has a lot to do with what I was seeing. Compared to my recent acquisitions, the Caitlyn is matronly looking and fitting. I appreciated the colors that were available at the time but today, I would not consider purchasing the Caitlyn or it's replacement, the Cate as there are so many other brands and models for bigger girls out there.

Band: Band is to big and rides up at back a lot, as well as roles up upon itself along the back.
Gore: Does not lie flat. In fact it sticks out at the top and leans to the right in a way that makes it seem as if it becomes part of the right hand cup which is the cup around my smaller breast. It touches at the bottom.
Cups: There is a gap between the apex of the strap/top part of the bra and the breasts. This is a large gap on the smaller breast, and a much smaller one on the larger breast. Some of ... the material on the bottom and sides of the both cups are resting on rib cage, instead of holding breast tissue.
Underwire: It lies flat against my rib cage, but well under my breasts, the gap getting wider the farther away from the center of the bra. The wires are larger than my roots, and higher then I would like under the armpits. They can poke into my flesh there.
Straps: fine, maybe a little loose on smaller breast, but that might just be the gap due to the large cup in relation to my breast size.

    • Definite fit problems. It’s tricky getting the right size and style. Maybe cupandahalf will have some guidance.

This particular Caitlyn was purchased in the summer of 2014 and was approximately the 10th one I had. Until I discovered Bratabase and Bravissimo, I had come to the conclusion that the Caitlyn was the only bra I could comfortably wear. The Caitlyn's would not last long for me as they would stretch out and become unwearable after a year of use. They were certainly a significant upgrade on the Elila 1305s I wore for the previous 5-10 years but both are a distant memory for me.
The wires on the Caitlyn are close to an inch longer than my Alana's and combined with the extra 2 inches of band length, the wires end way too far back. I have the Caitlyn in Raspberry as well and those wires are almost 19.5 inches long. I thought about returning the Raspberry bra but convinced myself not to, thinking I will just grow into it. I also found this bra to give me the most east/west look I have ever had.
    Thank god I discovered Bravissimo.

    • I wore this Caitlyn almost a year ago but forgot to report that experience here.

This was the most east west look I ever had in a bra and I was way more pointy looking than I remember when this was in my rotation. I guess my many Bravissimo bras have spoiled me as they are all excellent in putting everything front and center which gives me a narrower profile.
