band is way too tight and cups are too small. The lace at the top of the bra seems like it would take permanent wrinkles easily. The padding is a good thickness.

This is the second (and smaller) CK Starlet I've owned. At first I wore it with a bra extender because the E cup fit fine but the band was unfastenable. Then I continued to lose weight and no longer needed the extender, but on no-bloat days the cups are now slightly too large in the lower-outer quadrant and on the sides where previously they had provided awesome side support. The top of the cups also began to roll, so there's a visible line under t-shirts. (My breasts are widely splayed, FOB, and beginning to sag under the armpit.)

I got between a 28E 28F 30E.
I wear a 28E in the deco half cup so I thought I'd go for a 28E in the Curvy Kate Starlet bra in Frost and Boysenberry. (Total cost from Amazon including high waisted pants, postage and free returns £45).
This bra and high waisted pants set is so gorgeous, even more gorgeous than in the pictures on the website. The colours are such a nice combination, quite a modern pinup feel and the bow and jewel star detail are lovely. The material is good quality and really comfortable, the size 8 pants are a perfect fit.
However! The bra ... seems a little small in the cups. Well actually it feels fine but the top of the cups dig in slightly and this gives a weird shape and look. Although I seem to fill the cups fine. I've seen alot of reviews saying the same thing and I can't tell if this is because it's too small or just the design of the cup is wrong for my shape. The band was perfect and wasn't too tight like some 28s are. Do I need to try it in a 28f or return and forget about it? Has anyone tried in a few sizes and still failed or succeeded? I'd appreciate some feedback. Thanks. Sorry I know this was long!

Telling from experience it's always a good idea to try on bras in different sizes. Bra sizes are not set in stone. I always make sure to order more than one size when I try new bras on, because otherwise it'd be impossible to figure out whether it's a shape or a size issue.
