    Didn't fit

The lace seems itchy and somewhat bulky feeling at first. After some wear and washing, those feelings fade away for me and I don't notice it much. I find the appearance of the bra itself to be very pretty, but maybe a bit gaudy. The 36GG fits very nicely, not sitting on tissue, hugging my root, gore tacking, straps doing work, and decent lift. It does slide out of my IMF a little, but I have yet to find a bra that doesn't slide at least a quarter to half inch out and it just doesn't bother me at this point. I've tried a 36G in this style and increasing the cup size to GG allows my tissue to sit in the cup without sliding to the middle.

The same applies to this bra as the Curvy Kate Princess Balcony with the lace. The gore sits lower (because plunge) and for softer tissue, like me, I do have a little trouble keeping my breast seated in the cup. The cup is also a size too small, so that's a contributing factor (obviously), but I got this for a steal of a price from Amazon and wasn't going to complain about the color or the fit. I needed a bra so bad at the time, I figured I could wear this one since it mostly fit while I was tracking down one that really fits. For what it is worth, a 36GG of this style is a really good fit for me.

This bra is pretty much a clone of the Flirtelle Spiro Plunge, so if you like that, then you'll like this and vice versa.
I made the mistake of ordering both because I didn't know Flirtelle was a kind of sister company to Curvy Kate.
This review will be pretty similar to the Flirtelle review, because there isn't much between them.

This bra is in a gorgeous polka-dot black mesh fabric with some pretty lace detail at the top. The lace at the top has a bit of texture that may show through some tops. The quality is excellent.

I don't get along with this bra for two reasons: it's too projected ... for me and I should have sister sized up.

Some info about me: I'm even vertical fullness with medium width and medium to not-so-much projection. I find Cleo Marcie to be a perfect cup fit, but it's too narrow for me. I like a low gore due to being close set and I'm a 34G to 36FF depending on band stretchiness.

It fits great along the top of the cup, I think it anticipates a hair more upper and inner fullness than I have, because the lace is not a close fit for me. It's slightly noticeable under clothes, mainly because of the texture of the lace though, it's quite 'chunky'. I have a LOT of wrinkles underneath the boob, which for me usually means that I need a less projection there. If you have more fullness at the wire when supported, you may like this.

The second issue is that I find the band a little tight for me, and therefore the gore slightly painful too. This is probably because I'm in-between a 34G and a 36FF, so it's very true to size.

On a positive note, I found this one had a bit more coverage than the Flirtelle one, it really brings the girls forward too.

I think this bra is best for those who have a lot of inner fullness and need projection at the wire. It's really pretty and I would recommend it to anyone who isn't shaped like I am. However, I would recommend the Flirtelle one before this one if you fit into the size range (I've heard their size range isn't as good as CK's, but can't remember at the time of this review).

Just like the other curvy kate bra I own, I get both slight quad boob situation along the top of cup where it sits against my skin and also wrinkling right below it.
other than these issues, it fits great https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This plunge bra is cute and sheer. It is a soft cup with two seams. The upper is lace and the lower is mesh. The band is mesh as well. There is a subtle polka dot pattern on the mesh. The wire is shallow and the straps are wide and fully adjustable. Unfortunately, this size doesn't fit me. The gore tacks nicely on my chest but the band is too tight and although the wire seems to fit fine, the cups are wrinkly at the top and sides.

Such a pretty bra! I love the details- I would say it's best for someone with moderate immediate projection, short roots, and fairly projected, pointy breasts, based on the way it fits- and doesn't fit me. It almost works, but I have trouble keeping it in my IMF, and the wire is stretchy/flexes to the point that it can get easily distorted, which may be part of my problem with the torpedo shape I get.

    40J

    Didn't fit

Fit: I tried this sized up from my usual size of 40HH when it was too low cut on me. See the review for that size at 40HH - Curvy Kate » Princess Plunge (CK6011). By sizing up the wires became a bit too wide for me, which spread my breasts out, a look I didn’t love in this style. However, in the 40J everything was contained but still on display. The cut is close to the Cabaret or Atomic Plunge in this size with very similar measurements but with shorter, slightly less projected cups. This frees up center tissue, which is ... nice for center full folks, but if you have soft center tissue you may experience quadding. The wires and straps were softer than the Cabaret. The straps adjusted fine for me but there was embellishment on the front like on the regular Princess. I had less gore gap in this bra than in the 40HH. There was some gapping at the strap in the 40J as the cups were slightly taller. The shape was super round in both, like if the Cleo Marcie were a low-cut plunge.

Comfort: The fabric was soft, no scratchy mesh here. The straps were also soft but a bit stretchy. I had no itchy issues with either the dotted fabric or the soft lace and ribbon top embellishment. This bra was a delight.

Style: The ribbon pulled out a bit on the top so there were loops sticking out when I looked down. I was not too bothered by it. I like the Princess so much better in black. I don't really care about the ribbons and bows and everything because I can't see it as much in black.

Very short, projected, close set, even, slightly narrow breasts....

Super cute. I'm fond of black, polka dots, sheer fabrics, and texture. Princess Plunge has it all https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

Whoa. This was uncomfortable. For some reason, the CK plunges don't fit me well. When removing the bra, the wire had slid 1/2" down within a few minutes. And, I presented quadding and huge wrinkles as well as non-fill in the bottom. I surmise this cut is not immediately projected enough for me. It does have ample room for upper fullness, however. If you are full on top and slightly less projected, this may be a ... great fit!

The second time I tried this bra, there were significant wire lines along the bottom of both breasts. Although I sincerely appreciate the aesthetics of this bra, I don't comfortably fit in 32F or 30G CK 2015+ plunges. Contrast the fit of this plunge to the 30G Ellace: there is a remarkable difference despite the dimensional similarity. I can wear Ellace all day with no downward shift and no discomfort. In this size range, Ellace and Florence are more immediately projected than the plunges. For science, I'll try the 30FF and hope the cup is .2" wider than the 32F Atomic Plunge.

I shifted the cup 1/2" toward the center: this fit well from a volume perspective. But, for some reason, these plunge cuts exacerbate my need for close-set cups. It appears the plunge wires shift the breasts to the center and trap my tissue, that needs to meet in the middle, under the gore wires. Consequently, there is little lift and quite a bit of discomfort. The balconettes fit much better despite the taller gore. So, I will cling tightly to the balconettes.

    • Aw, I was really hoping this would work for you! It's nuts how high the gore and cups are on you! It seems like you have a lot of wrinkling on the top. I'm wondering if actually the wires are slipping out because they are too wide and the gore is high, pushing the wires down, rather than your breasts actually pushing the fabric down at the bottom because of projection. Only conjecture, but when I sized up to a 40J from my usual 40HH the wires got super wide. But either way I guess you have gore troubles. :(

    • I'll try the 30FF next. It is interesting learning which bras fit better in 30G, 30FF, 32FF. An adventure each time I order. :-)
