This is a poor fit for me. The woman in the underwears shop fitted me in it- can't see her logic really! The band is too long even on the tightest hook and the cups are too far apart for me. The apex of the cups point slightly outward to the sides so when looking down I look like I have corners. The wires wrap around too far under my arms and I tend to fall into the centre of the bra very quickly (which is not a problem I often encounter). It doesn't feel secure or supportive- it's hard to tell how much this is due to the sizing issue and how much is just a feature of the design. The quality is reasonable, a bit gaudy looking for me though. This is the only Curvy Kate bra I've bought and I've yet to find a style of theirs that fits. Maybe I'll try again with their next season...
This bra is amazing!! The band is a loose 28 (it actually stretches to 30.0 inches, which is perfect), the straps adjust long enough and they are neither too close nor too far apart. The wires are wide enough for me, and the wires go up just high enough for me. There is enough space in the cups but not too much space. The cups are slightly-moderately shallow, but not too shallow. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that the underwires are too high in the centre. Plunge bras shouldn't have underwires that go high in the centre. Otherwise, this is a great bra for somebody who is slightly-moderately shallow and has wide roots.
My shape: slightly shallow teardrop/FOB with super wide/tall roots and very close-set tissue in the middle.
This bra is so pretty. While I am not especially a peacock fan, I do love the beautiful blues in the color range, and the Flaunt showcases this one beautifully. The black lace is woven like feathers! I could only see the green embroidered eyes in the photos online, so this was a nice surprise.
I exchanged my 28GG - Curvy Kate » Flaunt Bra (CK106) for this size (and paid a small fortune to do so), and I have to say it fits much better. The band is still adequately stretchy ...in a 28 and fits really well, although it seems to have the same problem I have noticed in lots of bras with powernet bands, which is that they bulge a little (due to the dissimilar stretchiness of the mesh and the elastic) even in the correct size. The straps are also still too far apart, but they are not as bad as in the 28GG.
If the cups run true in this model, I actually sized down from the 30FF I tend to default to in other brands, and in spite of everyone's advice to size up because of its shallowness, it works pretty well! The bottom of the cup is still too shallow for me, but the bra doesn't slide down that much, and the unexpected bonus is that I get a little bit of a boost from it!
The wires are a teensy bit too narrow for my roots, but sizing up wouldn't help because it's more of an angle problem I have than anything (they look like the Nike logo under my arms). The plunge is lovely and low, though, and the gore tacks nicely. Read more 187 more words

This is another Showgirl Collection bra and (as I understand it) cut almost the same as the Curvy Kate Tempt Me (SG4001) . It is a gorgeous bra in peacock blue satin with a black lace overlay that is shaped like feathers with embroidered green eyes.
If only it fit better! I don't know if sizing down to a 28G would have helped, but since they discontinued this bra I probably won't ever know. For one, the straps are So. Far. Apart. They are literally in my armpits, and any movement I ...make causes the cups to gape. I may try to adjust them, but they are right at the point of the cup, so it will require reshaping too... The shape of the neckline is also much wider [on me] than the models in the stock photos.
The Showgirls are well-known for having stretchy bands, and the 28 fits me very nicely. They are also very shallow, and I am starting to come to the conclusion that I am not quite as shallow as I thought - super tall and super wide roots give me a lot of the same fit problems that shallow breasts encounter, but at my 30FF size I must simply have a little more projection than I assumed. This makes the band migrate down a little bit so that the cups can have the fullest part around the fullest part of my breast; I have the same problem with my 30FF - Parfait By Affinitas » Casey (2801) and my 32DDD - Natori » Feathers Contour Plunge (730023) , and it isn't terribly noticeable especially under clothes, so it's not enough of a dealbreaker to make me want to send it back.
One strange thing I noticed is that the upper edge of the right cup (my smaller boob) seems to want to curl outward, a problem I have with both cups on the Parfait Casey. I am not sure whether it has to do with fit issues or construction, though.
The cup is wide enough to go around my breast tissue under my arms, and I didn't notice any discomfort while trying it on. The tag is incredibly itchy, but that is easily solved.
It's a very pretty bra, and hopefully I can resolve most of the problems with fixing the straps.
Update: Sent the bra back to exchange it for a 28FF. Read more 306 more words
