    30H

    Didn't fit

To know: I'm slightly FOB, very centerfull, pendulous, shortwaisted / high root, and need lots of immediate projection.

This bra is so pretty and I badly wanted it to work. I had read that this bra runs a little big and I'm in a 32H in CK Florence so I thought this 30H would be perfect. The band fits great and is comfortable. I really like the sturdy laminated fabric and prefer it over scratchy mesh. The print is cute and cheerful and I love the green accents.

The cups are bigger and a different different shape than Florence. The cup is very projected at the apex, though doesn't ... provide as much immediate projection as I need. I think this bra would work better for someone with more upper fullness than I have. I tightened the straps more to make up for the extra room at the top of the cup, which means the side of the cup digs into my tail of spence like crazy. (But that is the only uncomfortable part of the bra.)

I'm trying on this bra on a small boob day so I'm curious to see how it fits in a couple of weeks. The gore isn't giving me a very secure tack and I'm considering doing surgery in this bra to see if I can make it fit better.

I'm so ready for manufacturers to describe their bras on the labels BEFORE I buy them. You need loads of immediate projection and the labels should help us find those models.

The print is happy and looks gorgeous on you!

    • wait, love4pollinators can see pics? i cant?

    • 1

You can search the photos for this size and models. I recognize @heavyweights 's photos. Oh dear, now I feel like a stalker ;-) ;-)

    • ^Blasted autocorrect ;-)

    • Haha, the hairy pits will give it away every time! I have a couple other pics pending.

I'm hoping it fits a bit better when my boobs are having big days. But, I'll be weaning my toddler soon and I'll have to send this beauty on to a new home.

    • I didn't even notice your pits--they look like mine ;-) I just looked for the breasts needing significantly more immediate projection :-)

I'm a little jealous. I have this bra, and even with my recent "growth" I still can't fit the Eden. I think the 28E runs at least 2 cups big.
I can't even get it to 'kind of' fit. And I can't find it in a smaller size.

    Didn't fit

Positive: gorgeous bra in a pretty print with comfortable fabric. The lining is light but it definitely has the sturdiness I like without sacrificing softness. The band is a good 30, not too tight, not too loose, not overly stretchy. Wires are fairly narrow for a 30F (though they are just barely too wide for my tolerance zone since they flex outward a bit after the band is fastened).

Negative: Obviously, it doesn't fit me. As with most CK bras I've tried, the straps are a bit wide. The biggest problem is that cups run large. I tried adjusting things around for several minutes to get a handle on ... why this bra didn't work on me, and I have to say, this fits more like a 30FF/G. I think the issue is this: the cups are really, really tall. I am usually a 30F/FF depending on the brand, and just looking at the cups compared to the rest of my Freya/Cleo/Comexim bras tells me that this is taller than usual. About 1-2 inches taller, at least.

My best assessment for this bra is that it would be best suited to someone who is full on top, a bit firm, narrow, tall root, and fairly projected.

If I were fuller on top and firmer, this might have worked out, but alas, back to amazon it goes.

I think with a tighter shirt or tank this bra will be great as I spill ever so slightly with nothing against it....if that makes sense.

    The band is nicely snug

    Tacks very well

Seems nicely narrow and contains all of my tissue on the sides and underneath. It's just the little spillage up top that's an issue

Curvy Kate, you don't know how to bra.

I currently have the 30G and the 30FF in my possession, both NWT. The 30G was just a wee bit too big in the cup, so I listed it and ordered the 30FF.

The 30FF... was also a wee bit too big in the cup.

So, measuring time. I re-measured both bras, just to make sure I wasn't going crazy.

The 30G is 0.5 cm wider but 0.5 cm shallower than the 30FF. And the 30G has a band that is about 3 cm longer than the 30FF when unstretched. (I didn't take stretched measurements.)

In other words, they pretty much have the ... same exact volume, in a different shape, on different length bands.

CURVY KATE, THAT IS NOT HOW SIZES WORK.

I like the appearance and fabric of this bra, but I'm not going to spend hours of my life trying to work the math and trudging back and forth to the post office, abusing my Amazon Prime account, in the hopes of hitting on something approximating 14 cm wide by 26.5 cm deep. It ain't worth it.

(ETA: Sorry, I tried to submit photo proof of the wonky size/scale issues, but Bratabase ate my photos three times, and I gave up.)

    • I've been wondering if we need to be sending our feedback to the manufacturers rather than just venting here when we see this kind of crazy stuff. Like my bra where the wires go past my arm pit. who has boobs that go past the outside of their arm pits?

    • 1

I agree, and I did at least post this same info to Amazon, where CK is marginally more likely to see it. I'm not a big CK customer, because they traditionally make wide/shallow bras, and I'm very narrow/projected (slave to the Ewa S cut!), but I applaud this attempt at offering a variety of shapes and want CK to do it RIGHT. I just may write them directly.

    • I am big fan of ck and so far ck gave best fits on me but I can tell since this year CK's cup design way to different.

    • Weird! I went to their website to see if they had a new lead designer who might have different ideas about fit, but I couldn't tell. All I can say is, it's one thing to add more variety to bring in new customers. It's another thing entirely to alienate the customers you already have!

So, an older CK balcony really is bigger than the new ones. This is at least one cup size too big, possibly two. Consequently, shape assessment is invalid. This size has enough immediate projection and centre fullness room, but who knows?

Most noticeable: really thick, heavy duty unpadded cup fabric. Almost bathing suit material, but with zero stretch. Seams are really flat. Stretch mesh band with three hooks, scalloped straps which could be fully adjustable if the print fabric were removed from the front half, and really sturdy u-shaped wires. Gore is fairly narrow, as are cups and strap set compared to other CKs. The straps are only slightly too wide (comparable to Cleo Marcie and Hettie and newer CK Daydreamer) and the wires would probably be within range in a size smaller?

Pattern detail is a trio of bright pink leaves with an occaisional baby pink trio and pale pink, bright pink, and pale green accents. It is really quite gorgeous - it just doesn't fit. How many times have I written that?

    30E

    Didn't fit

This bra was in an online sale in a 30E, and after reading posts about how Curvy Kate sometimes requires you to size up, I figured that I should give it a go and try a 30E rather than my usual starting size of a 30DD. The worst that could happen was that it didn't fit - which it really didn't. It was much too large for me, both in the band (I put it on the tightest hook and it still felt a bit slack) and in the cup (which was massive). What was also interesting is that the cup, despite being too large for me, looked ... as if it would cut across my breast if it were smaller, creating the quad boob effect - although this is purely speculation, as I didn't order any in different sizes. I suspect this is due to my breast shape, but I'm not entirely sure.

What I will say is that the material is quite thick, which I liked. It feels a bit like a bikini top when you take it out of the packaging, but I liked it compared to the other thin, sheer bras that I'd ordered (not something I had realised from the website's pictures!). It's still a soft cup bra, but the material was good quality, and had a nice pattern. Just a shame that my sizing was so off!

@Eden is really comfortable, and the width of the strap placement is shoulder heaven! It actually sits wide enough so that the straps aren't digging into tissue. The cups are a little tighter than expected, so I recommend going up a cup if your usual cup size is snug, so you aren't popping out and so the center sits against your chest. Time will tell its durability, I'll update in a few weeks to comment on if the wires pop out or it stretches without reasonable wear.
Despite being iffy about whether the bright appearance would be tacky or not, it is really cute. The colors are a bit darker than in the model photos, but it retains the adorableness. The double ribbons are darling.
