This was my first Comexim order and I couldn't be happier. I read a lot of measurement info and fit checks here and on the abtf reddit to try to figure out what size to get (I usually wear a 30D in Cleo/Panache bras). And I also decided to bravely go for an alteration on my first order as well - I asked for a narrowed gore because I routinely make that alteration on bras myself. And it worked out great! The fit feels perfect to me and it is the most comfortable bra I've had yet! The gore is perfect. There's no gaping or empty space anywhere, ... the wire width is perfect, and it has nice high wings, which I love. I was a bit nervous to get the plunge style because I have tall (but shallow) roots and bras sometimes cut in on top, but not this bra! And the fabric is beautiful!

    So, yeah, I think I'm a Polish bra convert https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Thanks to everyone who measures their bras and posts reviews and fit questions - you are helping more people than you know!

    • Congratulations!!

    • Yay! It looks great on you!

    • Yay! I love Polish bras too. May I ask how you did the narrowed gore when you did it yourself?

    • Thank you!

Sunflowergrrl - There are a few tutorials out there for narrowing gores that I learned from, like this one: https://brasticmeasures.wordpress.com/2015/01/04/fit-issues-center-heaviness-is-a-dominant-shape-trait/

It's a very simple alteration, and reversible if you don't make any cuts to the fabric. Basically, you just pinch the gore in and sew it down along the pinch line. It's very helpful to pin it first and try the bra on while it's pinned to see how much you need to take it in.

Sometimes I need to overlap the top of the wire channels as well, because otherwise the angle of the cups changes too much. This was a useful tutorial for that step: https://imgur.com/a/RmUTO

If you are at all handy with a needle and thread, and you think it might improve a bra, it's totally worth a try. You can always undo the stitches if it doesn't work out.

I was pretty excited to try out Comexim's famous "lower plunge cut" cut, which this bra was rumoured to be. I even saw the review on bratabase in size 60E which clearly shows the lowered gore.

Meanwhile, surprise! The fit is exactly the same as Yellow Bird's. I'm wondering if they stopped making bra's in this cut or if it's a mistake. Anyway, I'm not complaining as I'm in love with the colors and again, the fabric.

EDIT: Comexim responded saying that the gore should have been indeed lowered by 1 cm and that they are sorry about the mistake.

...So now I have to wait for another discount and decide which lowered gore bra I wanthttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":p" /> They don't have too many options in that cut though.

I just got this bra and I love it!
The material is so soft and pleasant to touch. The pattern looks amazing. It's very comfortable. The shape it makes is slightly pointy under clothes but I'll see if it softens up wih time.
Some info about my shape - slightly FOB, average roots, some projection. I normally wear 30D.

edit: another thing I like about this bra - the higher cups prevent my bust from jiggling when I walk and run

It is, isn’t it? I emailed Joanna to see what else was the same soft material and she said nothing really exactly. Adele and Lily are soft but Scottie is a unique fabric.

    • 2

Yes the scottie fabric is by far my favourite. It is also my most comfortable and supportive bra. I have it in a 3hc ( with added depth )and I love it.

I wish bra companies would provide a sample of the materials they use with each order:D

Adjustments: Reduced cup height and straps moved in 2cm. Oddly enough, I had to start this on the second hook. The seams are VERY visible underneath a thinner shirt. I think the cups may be a hair too narrow, but I'm not sure. Most wires are a touch too wide for my comfort, so it may just be an issue of unfamiliarity or tissue migration. Plain, but serviceable. The gore is ALMOST narrow enough, but not quite. Still think I need overlapping wires. All and all, perfect sale bra to help me design my dream Comexim, lol

I know that Comexim 3HCs fit my FOB average projected breasts really good and this one is no exception. The shape is a little bit minimized as for all Comexims but as always the bra compensates this with incredible wearing comfort. I tend to forget that I am wearing a bra with my Comexims which makes me purchasing this bras again and again while the tend to stretch out a bit quicker than my Ewas.

Fitwise there is nothing special. The bra is not more closed on top than the average 3HC, I think it is one of the less deep models but the bras tend to become softer ... and a tad more projected with wear so I am not sure yet. This model is usually a plunge but I ordered the 3HC without any problems. The band is on the tight side, for the first time ever I extended the bra by one hook for comfort. I can close it without problem but as I only need the shape and very little support I choose to wear the bands as loose as possible without riding up. I got wider as well as firmer on the back within the last year, so the extender should be only half way due to the band.
As for all Comexims 3HC I cannot wear it with low cut tops, but that is okay.

The design is very very beautiful and special - this is why I am making this review as early as possible. When I looked for information about this bra there was none and still it seems as I am the first one to add information about this bra to bratabase.
The straps are plain black, the metal details (even the hooks!) are golden. The print is on a very soft material and absolutely unique. In the center is a black-golden bow. I hoped that this bow matches the Atena thong, which is luckily true. As the print looks like a rather soft black Atena matches quite well but but not absolutely perfect.

    • Thanks for your review! It's always nice to have data when there's nothing available on a bra. I LOVE how comfortable Comexims are... none of my other bras compare. They always feel great right out of the box. I do find my 3HCs minimizing too, but still very rounded and flattering. Glad you got a good fit! It looks great on you.

    • That looks lovely on you. Thank you for reviewing it. The photos of this bra helped sway me on liking it a lot.

Lovely, smooth fabric. The yellow color is more vibrant in person making me think about some sort of exotic bird.
I have assymetry and have recently lost weight so my unpadded 30D Cleo's and Mimi Holliday gape at the top sometimes, but here's no gaping nor cutting in the breast tissue. The cups do a great job at preventing any bounce when running. The band is comfortably snug.

Fits like the most perfect 30D in the world. Makes my breasts look AMAZING; closest to cleavage I ever get, and there's no pushup padding -- it's just shaped that well. Very comfortable, and then of course the design is so beautiful; the colors are even prettier together in person.

I normally wear a 30D, so this is one cup size up for me with my normal band size. Fits beautifully, with a couple minor issues.

So. gorgeous. when you see it in person. Very soft cups, soft straps, soft everything. The extended band fits me well and doesn't roll at the bottom. I love the smooth side lines under shirts. But never having had a longline bra before: damn are they hard to fasten. I'm constantly hooking it crooked. That one's on me.

It's so beautiful, I'm keeping it despite the minor flaws. Special occasion/I-need-to-feel-pretty-tonight bra.

    • I have the same issue with the floating underwires.

    • The floating wires thing was really bad in a Panache longline that I tried on. Longlines, why do you do this? You are theoretically warm and wonderful. Sigh.

    • I think floating underwires are super common in Comexim longlines. There's some sort of issue with band tension.

exactly what i was looking for --- a thin, unlined (non-padded) wire bra for the hot summers. ive worn it about 5 times so far and really am loving it. although i still want the rounded shape i get from the regular comexim plunges (and i still miss my ill-fitting super padded bras) this bra doesnt add appearance of extra cup sizes, but i still wear it in public... this is a 1st for me, and says a lot https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This was ordered as my bra for low cut tops. As I am full on bottom most bras tend to show at the neckline so I asked for a halfcup with reduced cup height (1cm). Comexim made this customisation and additionally the band height under the arm is reduced. I am not sure if this is a part of the reduced cup height or a second modification I did not ask for. While the cup height does little change fitwise the reduction below the arms makes the cup a little bit smaller. As the wires are shorter my breast tissue is exactly kept in place, few millimeters more ... reduction and it could escape. As standard 3HC fits perfectly this bra is reallay close to too small. If I breath in deeply there is quadding and worn normally there can be a slight hint of quadding, wich is luckily invisible under clothing.
The reduced height below the arms makes the bra even more comfortable than norml comexims and it works fantastic with tops that are low cut at the arms. The shape is okay, I guess it is a little less projected than the normal halfcup but perfectly okay for me.
I would not order a second bra with this modification due to all the mentioned points, but I will keep this one until it will fall into pieces or my breast size will change https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I bought this bra to test Comexim (together with a Plunge that did not fit) and found a bra that fits perfect, gives me a good shape and is more than comfortable. I usually do not even notice, that I wear a bra I only see it when looking at the mirror. Only the cup could be few milimeters lower, it might show up in the cleavage as I'm FOB.
The seams are invisible unter thin shirts, the color is much prettier in person.
If you need wide wires have in mind that Comexim uses very soft wires that bend even with normal wearing, so real wire width will be wider than measurement.
I really love this bra and many more Comexims are on my wishlist.

    Pros:
    - Soft and sturdy, like all Comexims I've tried

    Cons:
    - Tons of wrinkling, in a size that fit me flawlessly in the other three Comexims in my order
    - The cups did this weird thing where they folded over on the outside edge - never seen a bra do that before
    - Smooshed my boobs in and up, with an obvious tension line across the cup from the straps pulling the fabric too tightly across my breasts. Again, this size fit me perfectly in the other three Comexims I tried (which I ADORE and will not part with for anything)

Thinking I might've gotten a one-off fluke on this one; did not purchase, but still love the brand and will buy from them again (though not this model in this size).

My breasts are FOB and projected, and I normally wear a 28DD, and this bra sadly does not fit in several aspects. This bra is a padded half cup with two vertical seams. The cups are covered in a patterned mesh fabric and a lace trim is sewn to the top edge of the cup. The lace sits on the padded cup itself. The wings are made of two layers of some very stretchy mesh fabric. The band size is ok for me but very stretchy, so it does not feel too supportive. The cups are very shallow at the bottom - too shallow for my breasts. ... This bra gives me great cleavage, but unfortunately that comes at the cost of comfort: Due to the shallowness, my tissue is pushed out of the cups at the top but since I am FOB, I don't get overspill yet. The bra might work better in a bigger cup size though. The wires are narrow and a good width for me at the bottom. I need narrow wires at the bottom of my breasts, but these wires reach unfortunately so high on the sides that they poke into my tail of Spence. I generally need rather long straps and these adjust long enough for me, I even get a couple of extra centimeters.

I have been eyeing on this design for a very very long time. I know that standard 3HC of Comexim fit my breasts (FOB, average projection, average root width) very well without any modification, but I read in several reviews that the longlines fit different. Having in mind the problems with modifications done or not done I could not make myself to order this design.
Finally I decided to go for the longline without any modifications, so I could return in case it would not fit.

So for me there is no difference in fit of longline and standard bra. The fit is exactly the same as for my 3HC ... which means stunningly comfy, a bit flattened but quite lifted. While this is not the shape an Ewa bra gives me I am absolutely okay with it and have several Comexis in my closet.
I also heard rumors that the band on the top of the cups would make them more closed - I cannot say anything about this. I do not see any quadding or cutting in (except when I take a really deep breath and move my shoulders back as far as I can), thats it. But I have to admit that my breasts are really insensitive for closed cups.
One has to know that the longline bras expect you to have something like a pronounced waist. I am more or less straight, so I hook an extender in the two lowest hooks of the bra for more comfort. I am okay with that but you might want to know.
The design is absolutely unique and I love it (even if it somehow reminds me of a Christmas elf...)

This is a standard 3 HC so it fits me as well as my other ones. (I am FOB, average projected). I am not sure if this bra is a bit less projected than other 3HC but fitwise it does not matter for me, it is just something about shape. As all the other Comexims this bra is extremely comfortable.
The shop pictures do not do any justice to this beauty. It is a stunning, dark, rich shade of green, which more or less exaclty meets my dream of a green bra. I did not like the idea of the lining before I got this bra, but the soft brown is a very nice contrast to the green.

i have a hard time w/bathing suits (as most of us do!) and i LOVE the fabric on this bra because when its dry it just feels like a normal soft bra. when i was swimming it stayed put (granted i wasnt surfing, just splashing around) and when i got out of the water, it didnt feel heavy, like some do. it didnt feel like a spongey material. i really love it. the wires at the gore are too separate for me so after about 6 hours i was feeling a little sore in that area. I think it would be more comfy & look ... more like swimwear & less like a bra if they had used one of those continues wires instead of 2 seperate wires for ea cup. *BUT* i have a very small bust so there isnt much to contain or support. i'm not sure how this would work for bustier body types. OH cant forget the bottoms... i'm not a huge fan of the cut due to the shape of my backside, it shows more than i'm usually conformable with, but the way they connected the front & back pieces at the hip/sides is w/plastic rings. i'm on the thinner side, but not toned at all, so those rings dig in & although not overly tight, gets uncomfortable after a few hours.

The band is very stretchy on the bra. I bought this used from another user so maybe it has stretched out since it was new? Either way it works on the tightest hooks. The cups are slightly stretchy, except the top lace is not. The cup gapes at the top on me. Nice overlapping gore wires.

Because I really like the design, I ordered the 3HC (knowing it would fit) in the same size, since then I am happy with this more than beautiful bra. The band is less tight as 3HC but still not as stretchy as dafhne.
