I'll keep this short since I'll probably do a full in depth review of this bra later (since there isn't much out there in the way of unlined Comexim reviews) but for some main points:
This bra is beautiful. The pictures don't even begin to do it justice. Unfortunately, it is too small for me. The top lace digs in a little, but the horizontal seams cuts in a lot. I think I would probably be *better* in a size up, but I think the horizontal seam would still cut in so I wouldn't get a good fit even in a larger size. For that reason, I'm probably not going to reorder it, I'm just going to keep this one as a bedroom bra (its too cute for me to get rid of).
One other thing to note is that the wires on this are feel more narrow than any of my other Comexims (which I love, but if other Comexim models are a perfect width for you, you may find wires on this bra too narrow).
I was really excited to try this unlined Comexim, so when it finally came today and it was such an odd, uncomfortable fit, I was really disappointed. The top of the cup doesn't lie flat against my breasts, like the Eve and Emily styles do. (I love those two models so much!) The elastic across the top just doesn't seem to be tight enough or something. It's a shame, because the lacy top is really delicate and pretty. The whole bra itself is beautiful, but it just didn't fit me at all. The band is pretty snug, and I asked for narrowed straps, but I'm almost positive that wasn't done, because they sit really wide on my shoulders. I also asked for a raised gore, and usually that ends up being around 3.3-3.5 inches. This one measured to be 3, so I don't believe that alteration was done, either. Sigh. I really wanted a nice fitting, black unlined Comexim. It just wasn't meant to be with this particular bra, however.
I really wanted this bra to work. I've been searching for a sexy, elegant, see-through black bra for some time now, and I thought I'd found it in Musetta. As you can probably see from the photos, it didn't work.
The main issue is that I'm working some pretty impressive loaf-boob in this bra, a sign that, you guessed it, it's too small. It wrinkles in the bottom of the cup where it's too shallow for me, and while I'm not quadding in the top, that embroidered flowery panel is squashing my boobs into rectangles, and everything that can't fit is hanging out above the cup itself.
I'd like to ...try Musetta again in a 65J, because everything else about the bra was great. The wires, at 5 inches, were the narrowest I've come across, and they felt really nice. The band was nice and firm and the gore was nice and narrow, and lower than the other plunges.
I will say that the mesh of the Musetta isn't as soft and luxurious as the foam of the padded plunges, but that's to be expected. It isn't uncomfortable at all, which is a huge bonus because I have sensitive skin that is easily irritated.
Overall, a gorgeous bra that I'm sadly going to have to re-home. Read more 103 more words
