** This is a customized bra! The only non-standard measurements are CUP HEIGHT and WIRE LENGTH. **

When a package from Poland arrives in the mail, it is truly a happy day. Incidentally, this second shipment from Comexim was sent out during the COVID crisis right before Comexim shut down production, but it somehow arrived more quickly than my order earlier this spring (25 days instead of 30 days).

The only customization I requested in this order was: Cup height reduced 1 cm, straps moved in 1 cm.

However, I was a bit surprised to see that this Lace Nude Half Cup bra I ordered in 60H with cup ... height reduced 1 cm and straps moved in 1 cm looked so small. And the fabric, instead of the jacquard lace pictured online, was the same mesh lace as the fabric on my Ginger Plunge. After measuring, I also found that the wires in this bra are the wrong size and are the wires for 60G. Therefore, what I really ended up receiving was a Ginger 3HC in 60G!

After reviewing user photos, I found some variations in the fabric in each bra, so it seems that Comexim is just sewing this bra with whatever nude lace they have on hand. Looks like I am not the only person who received a bra made with the Ginger lace. I don't mind the appearance, but this bra was originally priced much higher than Ginger (158 zl vs 120 zl), so really I think this should just be priced about the same as Ginger. I got this at a reduced price of 130 zl, but still found this to be a bit odd.

Because I suspected that the Basic 3HC I tried earlier in 60H ran exceptionally shallow in fit, I decided to order this WITHOUT increased cup depth although I've already figured out I need +1 or +2 cm in the cup depth. However, this one measures exactly the same in cup depth as the Basic 3HC at 19 cm, so I will definitely be ordering future 3HCs with additional depth. I can also tell that the cup height customization was done, as it is exactly 1 cm shorter than the standard cut. It looks fine on me at this height, but I think that with the increased depth, I will now ask for 2 cm reduction in cup height. I asked for strap placement to be moved in 1 cm, and it looks like this was done as well. The strap placement is OK for me on this bra but I will also ask for the placement to be moved in further. I have sent Joanna a picture of the outer edge of the cup and strap attachment and asked her if she can make it just like the 60G, which doesn't chafe me in the underarm area.

However, the main issue with this bra is that I checked the wire measurements and compared against my other bras. The wire is too short and narrow to be a 60H and measures the same as my 60G bras. It also looks exactly the same as my 60G bras. Since the band is very tight on me, it does stretch horizontally and doesn't cut into my tissue, so I didn't notice the issue immediately. However, the smaller wire is 1 cm shorter and .5 cm narrower, which makes a difference for me in the fit. It also changes the placement of the strap attachment and the cut of the outer cup. However, the cup depth of this was correctly made to 60H measurements, so it is a combo of 60G wires and 60H cups. I am not sure why this happened and I have emailed Joanna to let her know. (Update: once I pointed this out, I asked Joanna for a small discount on my next order, and she agreed to refund my shipping cost on my next order)

The band of this bra uses the same very firm stretch tricot as the Basic does, so it is quite firm. The wings have the body lace extended from the cradle to the front portion of the wing, which is a nice touch. Ginger's wings are fully lined in stretch lace overlay. This style has the same deep leotard back as all my other Comexim styles. The only other real differences between this bra and the Ginger is that the upper edge has a horizontal strip of lace attached with an eyelet pattern, and the lace quality appears to be the same as the one pictured. The straps on both bras are identical, and the center gore has a tonal ribbon that is lighter than the one on Ginger.

Fit-wise, this bra is basically a 60G on me, and it feels that way. The wires are a little too small, and the cups are a little shallow. It's passable and it does give me a much better shape than the Basic 3HC in 60H with its flattening, overly-tall cups, but it's not ideal. I'd prefer the normal 60H wires and deeper and shorter cups. Straps could be moved in a little further. Because the band is so firm and the cups are already small, the band on this hooks but feels really tight, so I need an extender for comfort on this one.

It's a bummer that it didn't turn out was I wanted due to the wire mistake, but I am pleased that the actual adjustments I requested in my order were done, and I am reaching out to Joanna to see about ordering another one with additional modifications and corrected wires. Like all my Comexims so far, this is totally wearable, just not perfect. I am getting close to getting the best fit!
