    Didn't fit

I have a few fit issues with the Ellis:
--The lace panel on top is quite loose and hard to get to lay flat. I'm pretty full on top and can fill out the Marcie no problem, but Ellis requires a very specific posture!
--30DD/28E Cleos are usually either perfect or a little too small on me, but this style seems to run deeper. I get wrinkling at the sides of the cups.
    --Such a painful center gore!

It's still a lovely bra with a great floral print and it does look nice under clothing, as long as it isn't so thin it shows the wrinkling! Although it's a little too big for me, this bra really pushes my breasts forward and projects them. It seems hard to believe, but for an unlined bra, it's quite the maximizer!

I like this bra. I think the print is gorgeous (I love florals) and it looks lovely on. The fit would be perfect, but there are a few things that are just a little off. I do have a bit of wrinkling in the bottom of the cup and about a cm of space around the sides and bottom of the wires that is not filled. I wish the wires were slightly narrower or shorter, and I wish the lace on top was a little tighter. The lace is really thin though, so it doesn't show under a shirt. I had to extend the straps because they were ... too short for me, but that was an easy fix and now they work just fine. I wish the straps were a little closer together in the back because they feel like they want to slip down when they aren't going to.

That's a lot of complaints, but this bra is comfortable for every day wear. I recently got my Lily in the mail (review to come) and it solves most of these problems. I think the Lily is the bra for me.

I sent this bra back before I signed up for Bratabase, so unfortunately I don't have any measurements. Sorry!

However, I found that the band was unbearably tight, even on the outermost hook. I could barely extend my lungs out all the way wearing this bra. It also gave me a very very slight quadboob (almost unnoticeable).

The wire placement (other than general tightness from the band) was wonderful for my wide-set roots, and my breasts filled out the lovely lace cup which is rare for me in an unpadded bra like this one. I would love to find this bra in a 30D, but I haven't had any luck.

    Hasn't set fit

Not sure if I'm too FOT or it runs small, either way, not quite for me! Rather firm band, average width wires, fairly deep cups. However though the cups measure deep, in action the bra seems to be trying to push up/flatten my boobs in the Marie Antoinette style- not a good look in an unpadded bra. The lace doesn't seem to know what to do with itself.

I'm thinking if the wires were narrower it would be a lot better (or if I had wider roots). If you have a narrow root as well, I figure this 30GG would fit a very even-roundness or somewhat FOB 30G ... / 28GG / small 30GG.

Even with all that strangeness, as another reviewer said, this is a maximizer. The construction is such that my boobs look a lot bigger for some reason. Perhaps it is just that Cleo enhancement, drawing forth the breast tissue from the sides and making it round/perky. I'm almost curious enough to try this in a 30H but I don't need my boobs to look any bigger and I'm not enamoured with the pink. Maybe if they release in another colorway. However I've been having so many strange encounters with bras that claim to Marcie cuts that I'm not sure.

So excited to have found this bra! I thought it wouldnt work with my close-set, shallow breasts but for some reason it did. Typically, I have trouble when gores are too high or wide. This one is high but somehow narrow so it doesnt sit on much breast tissue, a problem that I usually encounter. The cup is also filled out nicely. There isn't too much of the lace material up top so even shallow breasted ladies like me wont have gaping cups. My only complaint is that the underwire on the side sometimes pokes into my underarms on one side (to be fair, thats my fatty underarm side.) I love how the straps on this bra are pretty and thin https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Definitely a keeper

I get slight wrinkling around the bottom of the cup for my smaller breast, but overall good fit. I have issues with the gore/inner wires leaving bruises on my breasts, but I'm not sure I can do much to change that (maybe bending the wires out a bit).

I was so excited to get this bra. I find Cleo Marcie, And Lana fit really well so I figured this would be a perfect addition. The band on this bra is made if a different material and doesn't have much give to it. It's supposed to be a 34 band but barely stretches to 31! The bra itself is a really pretty soft pink. I was expecting it to be white but that is my own fault! I looked at the pics on amazon again and it is obviously pink. The embroidery is really pretty and detailed but on the bra I got there was some loose threads. Cup depth is nice and I will be shipping this back and ordering a 36H. Hopefully that will fit but you never know!

  9. Well, first of, it's a lot more pink than I expected. I had the matching knickers in my shopping basket, but deleted it at the last moment. Good, I don't like the colour pink and would have regretted spending 23 euros on pink panties.
That being said, it's a pretty pattern, love the bright roses.

It's a bra that fits, so I'm willing to look past the pink for that.

The lace at the top 'wrinkles' a bit on my smaller side, but that doesn't bother a bit. The fit is a lot more 'portruding' than the Zia I have in a 28F: my boobs seem to look more 'voluptuous' in the 28E than when they actually were a 28F. Interesting. I'd feel sexy if it wasn't pink.

The band is rather tight. Good for me, maybe not so for others.

  10. I was looking forward for this model since I saw the first previews. In real, Ellis is at least as beautiful as on the photos. I thinks it's difficult to compare this bra to the other unpadded Cleo balconettes, they have all their proper construction.

The band is firm, comparable to Melissa. I can fasten in on the loosest hook, but I feel better on the second.
The cups have a new construction. The particularity of this model is a very large top panel, the one made of lace. It's quite open on the top and the cups can run big on some breast. The profile it gives is not usual for an unpadded balconette bra, a kind of natural tear drops, but it's very rounded.

I'm very very happy with this bra, it's not only beautiful but it also gives a great shape and support, like all unpadded Cleo bras.
