I agree, I wish more bikinis would utilize a metal clasp like Comexim instead of the plastic one! I had a bad experience with my 32HH - Curvy Kate ยป Pebble Moulded Bikini Top (CS6031) a couple of years ago -- the plastic clasp broke while I was in the ocean. Talk about embarrassing. That clasp was quite thin and flimsy compared to how your Cassie looks, so hopefully you won't have the misfortune I experienced!

I would be interested in your possible future post of mixing/matching bikini tops and bottoms! I just don't have an eye for that kind of thing (I am one to copy looks from mannequins or from other people I see online rather than create my own, haha), so it would be helpful to see how you mix them.

    • Thanks a lot for reviewing this!

I've been drooling over Cassie since before it came out.. Now you've made me want to go ahead and buy it ;) Can't really justify an extra bikini.. But it's so vibrant and pretty! Looks great on you btw.

Ahh, BumbleBean! That's a thing of nightmares! I'd be skeptical of every plastic clasp after something like that. Not cool.
In that case, I think I'll have to write up the post as soon as I have a couple hours to kill. :D

bubblegum Thanks! It is pretty awesome! Glad I could be a bad influence ;)

    Fits

I first thought this one was too tight, but it actually fits well even though it needs a bit of wiggling into. Since it will stretch a bit when wet, a bigger size would not fit me then. It will stay up well even without the straps. A very cute bikini.
I think the bottoms run a bit large; I got one size smaller than my usual one and it fits well.

Super duper shallow. Probably would fit a 32D or E.

This bra is not owned any more

I got this bikini top cheap on eBay. It is very shallow and slightly small. The 8 inches of cup depth I got seem to be very small. The gore does not tack with me - up to 1 cm of floating. I bent the wires a bit to fit me better. The back closure tends to twist a bit. The padding is quite heavy for my taste. The separation of the two layers (padding and top layer) is what hides the wires so well. The closure is plastic, the buckle at the front is coated metal.

In the end it's cute enough to keep it. I might order it in 32FF if bought it again.

Edit (July 2016): I altered the cup depth of the top to better fit my size. The process can be found here: http://imgur.com/a/2sjyU

    • I can see from the area just above the underwire the fit isn't perfect, but overall I think this bikini top looks great on you! It's such a cute style.

    • Thanks, I also think it's really cute. Yes, it's sooooooo shallow! Only 8 inches in cup depth, while the Cleo Kali has 10.5 inches.

This is my favorite bra-sized swim top, but it isn't a perfect fit. The cups run wide and are shallow at the bottom, but have some extra space on top (although the very top edge is more closed). Although it stays up just fine without the straps, I need to tie the halter pretty tight in order to prevent gaping. Even though the cups feel big on me, the 32E didn't provide enough coverage on me.

Also, even though I could only get the band to stretch to just under 32-inches (hence why I purchased a 32-band rather than a 30), note that this top, like a lot ... of swimwear, stretches a great deal when wet. The wires end up floating a bit on me, rather than sitting snugly in my IMF. I wish they could figure out a way to add more rows of hooks to swim top bands so they could be tightened when needed!

Overall, this is a really cute swimsuit and worth wearing, to me, despite the fit issues. The pattern is awesome and the style is very flattering.
