I like the color of this bra. It's somewhere between a slate blue and gray. I also like the black and white striped bow at the center and I'm not normally a big bow on bras person. The lace is firmer than I expected but it's not a bad thing. The inside of the cup has a silky mesh lining so the lace isn't scratchy. My only real complaint is that the outside of the cups are too tall or too wide or whatever causes the side of the bra to cut into the upper side of the armpit. The wires don't ...seem too long and they don't poke me under the arm. Basically every bra I own is at least one finger's width too wide and more often than not 2. This bra is slightly wider than that but still only 5.4" so not quite what most people consider wide wires either. Many people have mentioned the strange sizing for this Claudette model. It's actually not too far off for me. My other fitting Claudette bras have been 30F and this is a sister size of 32E. I find the immediate projection adequate but I haven't worn the bra for more than about 15 mins so if I wore it longer I might find it a bit shallow. I doubt too shallow though because usually it takes my bras less time to work themselves down if they are going to unless the bra is only slightly too shallow at the wire in which case sometimes it takes a half day of wearing to become noticeable. I didn't want to over wear this bra since it is still new with tags until I decide whether I'm keeping it or not. I'd love to see more bra options with this esthetic that are narrow and projected and open on top. Read more 216 more words
Two words: Stretch. Lace. Gah! To begin with, the colour is obviously to die for, and combined with the vest/tank top straps, this is definitely my most unique bra. (In the pictures you can see my computer really struggling to capture the brightness of the lace) The thickness of the straps going from the cup up to the shoulder provides a lot of coverage and support as well as comfort, since the pressure is spread to a larger area. The stretch lace also solves a problem that I have with my *slightly* different sized breasts, which is that it stretches to sit flat over my larger ...breast, and can rest (more or less) unstretched on my smaller one, still creating a smooth line. The only reason this bra is marked as 'doesn't fit' is because the wires go ALL the way around my back, almost touching my shoulderblades. Eek. I seem to often have this problem with 28Gs though, for whatever reason bra makers seem to think that at a G-cup, boobs must start further and further around your back and up in your armpits, which is obviously not the case. This bra also goes up into my armpits a good amount, but since its made of soft stretchy lace it doesn't bother me, and because of the design I kind of feel more like its 'supposed' to be that way. Other than that, the band is nice and tight, the gore tacks well without stabbing me, and there is plenty of projection at the bottom and centre of the cup. The shape is also nice and round, which I wasn't expecting, but am vv pleasantly surprised by! All hail neon stretch lace! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Only stretches to 28 inches, I measure approx 31 so doesn't go anywhere near doing up https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":-(" /> I'm devastated, I sized up to 32 from my usual 30 as I knew this was supposed to run small, but I'd need a 34 minimum in this. Can't comment further unfort, other than to say it's the unpadded lacy shoulder bra of dreams, sob.
