This is a padded bra, and in general is very comfortable to me, except the band is too big and I have to adjust it from time to time. It has stretched out in the 6 months I've had it, so its time is almost out. The cups are linked at the front with a very small piece of fabric (I hesitate to call it a gore), which can be uncomfortable.
