I always wanted to try the satine style and I fell in love with the duck eggs color on the Ariana, but it was not to be. I think it's very hard for heavy, dense breasts to do well in plunge bras, and for someone with top fullness like me, I felt like I was going to topple out even though the cup size was appropriate. This shape also just didn't work, I had ridiculous amounts of gaping at my shoulders. Also, the lace overlay may show up on thinner t-shirts. This was not for me, but it was satisfying knowing none of the satine are for me.
The most remarkable feature about this bra is how close set the straps are in the back. Many bras, when I have them on and look at the back view, have straps that splay outward as they reach the band. The Ariana's straps go straight down and are wonderfully close together, even on the loosest hooks. It feels comfortable and secure.
Bravissimo bra bands run small. My 32F Ariana's stretched band length is about 29.5" and feels quite firm.
The second aesthetic feature I appreciate is how narrow the straps are, 0.6" wide. It gives a delicate appearance. It underscores the prettiness of the black lace that overlays most of ...the navy satin cups.
There is slightly too much room in the cups at the center gore. The cups gap slightly right above the center gore. This wouldn't show under clothes and is barely discernible without a top on. Gapping doesn't usually occur in this area because my breasts are extremely close set.
The real fit problem for me is the height of the center gore. I need it to be less than 1" whereas this is over an 1" high. I haven't worn this bra as a result. Read more 89 more words
The cups are way too wide for me (they almost end on my back)! The bra sometimes digs into my underarms and the cups are too far apart for me which causes some spillage. I believe this size is actually too big but since the bra is so shallow I can still fill the cups (not the sides of them but still). Since the cups are too far apart it also forces my boobs towards my arms and which looks a bit weird. It's still very comfy though.
