    Didn't fit

First, I just wanted to say that there is no size tag in this bra. I have no idea what size it is, but this is the best estimate I could figure based on the measurements of others' bras. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Even though I have to wear the bra with the extender they provided, the measurements I posted are of only the bra itself.

Also, I added pictures of myself wearing the bra with and without the boned padded inserts. On the pics with the pads in, I labeled the pictures as so. On the ones without the pads, ... I didn't label anything (mainly because I added them before I thought of it haha.)

To write my review of this bra, I decided it would be easiest just to copy/paste what I emailed Tallia at Braologie and her responses (she is fantastic, btw.) Keep in mind while reading this that my breast type is full on bottom and very soft (those with full on top/firm boobs may have a completely different experience.)

    **My text to Tallia:**

When I first tried on the bra, the band felt incredibly tight and uncomfortable (even with the extender attached.) After wearing it more, the band is not as tight as I previously thought. I think I didn't wear it long enough at first to really get a feel for it. At first, it felt really uncomfortable against my ribs, but after a while, I became more used to it and it actually became quite comfortable. I now LOVE the band. I wish every bra had a band that wide, with as many hooks, and the extra boning. It really does provide tons of support!

Also, when I first wore the bra, I immediately took out the pads because the cups seemed too small for me. I hoped removing the pads would give me more room and help it fit better. Unfortunately, it did not help. The weight of my breasts just caused the cups to collapse at the bottom and fold, therefore allowing my breast tissue to flow out of the cups. It made the fit seem really poor.

However, I tried it again and left in the pads. I couldn't believe it -- it actually fit better with the pads IN! The pads seem to help add stability to the bottom of the cups, which I need. I wore the bra for several hours, and I was pleasantly surprised how well it keep my breasts in place.

So now, the only things that are keeping this bra from being a perfect plunge bra are the cup size (I wonder if I need a slightly larger cup next time?), the straps (the thin straps are somewhat uncomfortable, but not enough to make me not like the bra), and the shape (I get a somewhat pointy/flattened shape from the side along the top of the cups.)

    **Tallia's response to me:**

We agree that the bra cup size can be bigger next time. We do not advice you to go up one cup size at the moment because your breast is a bit more heavy at the bottom and our bra is trying to lift them up to even out the weight and bigger cup size may create too much room at the top of the cup and your breast tissues may not be firmed enough to fill the room at the top of the cups.

Also, we would like to thank you for giving us feedback and pictures. The breast shape is flattened because more room is required for your breast. However, as mentioned before, we suggest you to keep wearing our bra, try to wear it everyday so the breast tissue can adapt to the new shape and eventually your breast will be fuller on top and we can go up on the cup size and your breast will look rounder https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

As for the straps, we are trying to use wider shoulder straps for our future products so that full-busted women will get a more comfortable fit with the wider shoulder straps.

    **End reply**

A couple of days later, I tried on the bra with a different shirt (just a basic t-shirt.) The fit seemed worse, and I was very uncomfortable with the shape that I got under clothes. I decided to email Tallia again.

    **My email to Tallia:**

I am wearing the bra for the 2nd time today, and I am a little concerned how it appears under clothing. The shape I get is quite odd. I know we already discussed this bra being too small, but helpful for migration, but I wonder if this is realistic. In order to make the bra look okay under clothing, I am not able to scoop and swoop as much as I should (as this only exaggerates the small size.) I feel very self conscious of how this looks, and I fear this will keep me from wearing the bra. Also, the fullest point of the cups is so far out to the side that it interferes with my arm movement, which is something I cannot tolerate at work, as I work with my hands. The band, however, feels amazing.

What should I do? I love how the band feels and I'm open to see how the bra changes my posture and my breast shape. However, I just cannot realistically wear it everyday as suggested. I have considered just wearing it at home after work and on the weekends when I'm home, but I would have to wear a different bra if I were to go out.

    **Tallia's reply:**

Thanks for your message. We agree that the bra cup is too small for you which making the shape looks awkward and it looks more apparent under clothing. We should have asked you to send us pictures with your clothes on before to see how the shape appears. In this case, the cup size is definitely too small for you which leaves no room for your breast to protrude and resulted in the odd shape. We think going up 1-2 cup size will solve the problem. However, we are also worried if we give you a larger cup size, there is a possibility that the cup may collapse a bit as our bra construction may not be the best for large soft chest with small frame like you. Definitely we want to send you a new one to try but we want to notify you the possible outcomes before we send you a bigger cup size. Also, how much cup size smaller do you think if you scoop and swoop as much as you can? We want to give you a bigger cup size that can completely encase all of your breast tissue after you do the full swoop and scoop as indicated in our tutorial.

    **My reply:**

I'm not sure whether or not I'd need 1 or 2 cup sizes up. It's hard for me to gauge because I don't know how much bigger one size up is in the Braologie brand. I need room for it to fit and to accomodate any migration, right? That makes me think maybe I need 2 cup sizes up, but I'm really unsure as well. I understand what you are saying that the bra will only provide support up to a certain cup size with my band size. Whatever you guys think is best is fine with me.

Should I return the bra I have to you now? What is the process from here on out?

Also, would I be better suited for some other product, such as the mini vest? If so, which size would I wear?

Are there developments in the future for any products that may do better for large cup/small band customers?

Thank you again for all of your help, and please let me know what I should do next.

    **Tallia's response:**

After consideration, we are afraid that we will have to issue a fund refund to you. We think you will need at least one cup size up for better fitting, unfortunately, we are not confident that the bigger cup size will provide the support your chest required. We have been learning from our customers' feedback and we can see that our bra design at the moment does not suit women with full-busted women with softer breast tissue. If we give you a large cup size, there is a possibility that the cups will be wider than your breasts and the straps will be a bit very wide, which means that only the very outsides of the cups will be getting support. We do not want to disappoint you again by sending a bigger cup size that may not give you support and we think it is better for us to give you a full refund on your order and return postage cost. Once we develop better bras for large cup with softer tissues, we will get in touch with you again.

We apologize again for all the inconvenience caused and we look forwards to hearing from you.

    **Final update**

I returned the bra, and I received a full refund for the price of the bra, my original shipping cost, AND my return shipping. You just really can't beat customer service like that. I give them an A+ for superb communication and a sincere want to make sure the product was right for ME. I will definitely buy from them again if another bra is developed to support larger busts.

    • Thanks for posting your experiences. I agree with you about the fabulousness of the band. Why aren't there more bands like this on the market??? But I have to envy your customer service experience. My fit was not that far off, but with the crucial problem that it was made for someone significantly taller than me. (Pics and measurements here: http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dhsya/ Notice that my wings are 1.5 cm taller, even on a much smaller cup.)

Braologie (and Tallia) absolutely refused to work with and compromise with me on any aspect of the bra's fit and hurled accusations at me about "not believing them" and told me that if I wanted any alterations I would have to pay for all the shipping, purchase additional posture lingerie and an upgraded bra, and would receive no third chance and no shipping refunds if it still didn't fit because clearly none of this was their fault. I'm so surprised by how different my experience with them has been from everyone else's.

I hope they can get it right for you!

    • I also had to return mine because the wings were too high. While I had no problems with Tallia, I was a bit upset that they couldn't just lower the sides a bit.
