Oh man, this would be the perfect thick-padding-boost bra (I'm talking half an inch thick at the bottom) if it only
- came in my usual size (30G -> which would be Ann Summers 30H)
- had fully adjustable straps
It's got a really low gore and works really well for my fuller-on-top breast shape, plus the cups were surprisingly narrow (around 5 1/2 inches wide)
(I know that the Bratabase measurement for the cups says 7" but that's because unfortunately, for plunge bras, measuring tip to tip isn't really the most accurate way of measuring its width, because you're going diagonally)
Basically, if you're 32FF, tall, or if you know ...how to shorten straps, and your boobs are FOT and narrow, and you have been missing that ultra low gore plus ultra padded cups, then I would recommend!
The slate grey/space grey on this is pretty stunning. If I could have all the things listed above, I'd prefer to have it in the all-silver/grey colourway:
This bra has that kind of graduated padding you don't normally find above DD cups, because I presume, companies think that no one would want to make their E+ cups look bigger.
After finding the Ultimo Paulina worked an absolute treat in 32F ( a cup size down made it fit like how an ewa Michalak S cut would fit, if it had moulded graduated cups) I thought maybe I'd try this one too.
It fit better than expected but fell short in a few areas:
- cups are too wide for me
- cups are too far apart. So I'm getting quadboob and empty cup at the sides. The gore ...half tacks, only the underwire part, the underwire casing gets pushed forward by my breasts. The gore is comfy, but you'll see by the pictures what I mean
- cups are quite tall but it's the underwire length that is the issue
- cups have a surprising amount of depth given the thick padding. In one of the pictures the immediate depth is quite a bit. However I find myself not really filling out the depth apex of the cup
- the moulded cups got a little squashed by the postman I assume
I think this bra would work for the following person:
- taller than me (5"4) or longer torso / breasts lower set
- breasts are further apart and fuller at the bottom and sides Read more 122 more words
If the designer eliminated the space in the middle, this would be a fantastic bra for me. Love this color on you! Thanks for sharing photos :-)
You can try twisting the gore and see of that helps.
Love4Pollinators it also came in dark teal! When I saw two of my favourite colours and a 2 bras for £30 deal I had to be curious. I'll be sending them back and waiting for their next go at this style.
Noob the underwires are a bit too firm to do that I think, plus it's the empty underwire channel at the top that is the issue. They're going back so this is just a guess
I bet if the wires were sewed to touch it would fix a lot of fit issues (but maybe cause new ones?).
cupandahalf it might do yeah! If someone needed 6.5" wide (probably less as this is a plunge so the tall height adds a bit) cups but had close breasts or splayed breast then that would probably work if they knew how to do it.
This one also was pretty but didn't fit. This is supposed to be 32:8 but seems to fit like 30:8 or dare I say, 30:7
I'd say in general the cups are close to Comexim plunges, only the gore is different and the sides feel different too.
However it flattened my boobs out in a way that I've not seen for a long time. I'm so used to wearing projected bras that I forget that some bras do the opposite.
This bra didn't feel like an Ann Summers one to me. I'm used to sighing at the badly sewn diamante covered neon boost bras thinking "who in their right mind would buy this" whereas this one is way more fashion forward, and is seamed rather than contour or push up.
I really wish EM or Comexim would make something in a similar pattern in a half cup style. That would be perfect. Black, floral and digital print are 3 of my favourites right now.
Gore is narrow Cup generally looks very pretty Band is true to size if a little tight
Cons:
This fits similar to the sexy lace plunge. Pretty sure it's the same cut.
It would fit someone with wider and shallower breasts than me. Also the cup edge makes me think it would work better for even or fuller on bottom breasts.
Love the fabric look and colour but not keen on the materials
The gathered lace at the bottom at the front doesn't quite look right on me. It's kinda like how many Aimerfeel bras are made, and I'm just not a fan
The cup is too high coverage for me. If the cup gaped and it wasn't as shallow I would consider trying a cup size down, but I don't think it would help
Overall, pretty, inexpensive, would suit tall, wide shallow fuller on bottom/even breasts best.
this bra isnt mine and doesnt fit me, im adding it for a friend so i can hopefully sell it for her. i can only speak for appearance, which is super cute in my opinion! it feels sturdy in the band, and the cup is molded.
I believe that I have soft, narrow-rooted, even-fullness, very projected breasts.
Pros: For needing a utilitarian nude bra, this one isn't ugly. It is a peachy-nude color, floral lace overlay (which I like) and a dangley crystal hung from a bow on the gore. Wings are mesh fabric, and there is a little lace trim across the top of the cups. I'm not sure of the exact terminology, but it is lightly lined/padded.
I got it as leftover stock from a representative who was leaving the company. It was quite cheap, which is always a plus.
The wires feel like they're metal and extremely sturdy. I don't think they would snap.
Cons:
Overall ...the bra seems to be very poor quality. Even with the delicate handwashing and care that I give to all my bras, the fabric on this one has started to pill dreadfully already. I've had my Panache bras for almost a year and they are nowhere near looking as worn. The fabric got discolored easily and the band stretched very quickly, seemingly within a week. Some of the eyes on the back are very loose and are starting to pull out of their stitching.
The lace overlay can be seen through thin and silky tops, but I'm sure it could be snipped off easily if it was a problem.
The cups are pretty shallow (at least to me) and don't have a lot of immediate projection.
The lack of projection makes the thick underwires press in very much to my chest. Can pinch a bit and be uncomfortable.
This would be a good option for someone who needed a nude bra in a pinch, but I wouldn't spend more than $10-15 on this bra. I have no idea what the full price is, but I'm sure it isn't worth it.
It's a fairly well fitting bra for me. It could stand to be a little deeper in the cup, but I can't size up so it will have to do. I honestly don't have any real issues with the bra. That said, it's not my most comfortable one, as the wires in the center of each cup rub a bit. Nothing painful, but noticeable sometimes. And really, I think that would be resolved with a larger cup. The band is very comfy and reminds me of unpadded Freyas. As far as molded cups go, I like this one a little better than my deco.
This color is gorgeous!! I'm swooning :-) Beautiful on you!!
