Didn't fit

Ohhh I love this bra! So pretty! Even though it doesn't fit me quite right, I'm willing to live with a few issues on account of the prettiness.

I bought this bra from another user on this site, it was still new with tags still on. I new that it would be a tight fit, as this is a 30G, where I normally wear a 32G, but the measurements showed me that the difference in cup depth and wire length was under 1 cm, so I decided I would give it a go.

First of all, the sheer mesh fabric of the cup is surprisingly supportive, and the embroidery is just gorgeous!

To my surprise, the band is not way too small. I had already bought an extender because I thought it would be, since I usually wear 32 bands, and I had read everywhere that EM bands are quite snug. But even though it is a bit tight, I don't think I will need an extender, or at least not for long.

The gore is a bit higher than my usual styles (Freya half cups), but it's not uncomfortable. The gore is also quite narrow (the wires are sewn on top of each other), which is a bit much for my wide set boobs, but that is basically true for all my bras.

The wires, are about the same length as most of my bras, but narrower than I prefer, so I've just bent them out a little and now they are a good fit.

The cups fit, but they are on the small side (as expected). I do not quad boob, but the gore doesn't quite tack. When I push the gore to my sternum, the cups do quad a bit, so I guess a GG would be better for me.

One problem I have not yet been able to fix, however, is that the top of the cup gives me a bit of a square shape from the side. It is as if the fabric just below the top of the cup is tighter than the absolute top edge, which causes the square shape. This may have something to do with the construction of the straps, which start in a wedge shape at the top of the cup, as opposed to the usual parallel straps. The slanted inside edge of the straps seems quite tense, and I think I feel this tension continue in the top part of the cup that seems tighter than the upper edge somehow (of anyone can still folllow what I mean).

I will make a fit request for this bra to see if anyone can tell me what's happening.

This bra is not owned any more
