Didn't fit

The Masquerade Capella is a very nice looking bra but for me the fit is quite odd.
The band is comfortable in fabric and fit. I usually have an under bust measurement of around 70-72cm and this was a good fit for me, although I must note that I do not like to wear tight bands.
The straps are fairly comfortable due to the satin-like fabric but they are quite thin and not as supportive as I need them to be - an issue exacerbated by them being too wide set for my frame.
The wires are too wide for my liking and they poke at their outer edges. I don't think that the wires are necessarily too long but rather that they end in an uncomfortable place on my ribcage which is probably in part due to their width.
The centre gore is too high and too separate which causes the wires to sit on breast tissue. The wires also dig in at the sternum but this is a problem I experience in almost all bras including my best fitting, Ewa Michalak bras.
The cups are too tall, too wide, too separate and too shallow on the bottom for me. The middle of the cup has a surprising amount of depth and the top is quite open. I didn't experience "gaping" as such but because the cups were too tall, the top of the cup was not optimally filled out. Downsizing in the cup would most likely not work due to the shallowness at the base at the cup so unfortunately this bra is just incompatible with me. I think it would work for someone who is full on top and around the middle & not particularly high set (at least not in the larger cup sizes).
Masquerade make bras that match my taste very well but the more Masquerade bras I try, the more I am disappointed. Now that I have some well-fitting bras, thanks to Ewa Michalak, I am able to more easily identify fit problems with other brands. I constantly find that cups are too tall, too shallow and often too wide, so I am losing confidence in many brands, including Masquerade https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
