Didn't fit

Another stab at finding a padded style to fit me...

For the price, this is a REALLY nice lightly padded bra.

It's a 3-part (1 vertical and 1 diagonal horizontal seam) padded smooth knitwear balcony with cotton lined cups. The shape reminds me of EM's S style.

It has comfortable, wide, removable, multi-way straps.

Only 2 hooks in 3 rows though. At this size, I expect at least 3 and 3.

Also, the band is less firm than I've grown used to with Ewa M. Not necessarily a bad thing (there are days I'd like a little more give), it is just something to note...

There are no cookies or cookie pockets.

I ordered a size up from my usual unpadded/soft size, but it still doesn't fit.

The cups are too big, but still not nearly projected enough for me, as is evidenced by a gore that won't come close to a tack even when the cups are too big. Because it's too big, I can't really comment on wire or strap width because it's obviously meant for someone of a different size and shape than me BUT given how big it is, the wires really don't go that far out under my arm. Nor do the straps. I think if you're the right size and shape for this cup, it'll be a really nice bra.

I'll load more pics and measures tonight..

My quest for a "padded" bra continues. And I'm not really looking for padding. Just something besides a CHP that's thick enough to hide nipples in minus 20 degree temps.

I've got an S in 65G coming from EM and after that I'll get a couple of semi softs (Gorsenia and Krisline) to try. If I succeed, great. If not, I'll deal.

NB. I ordered all these Polish bras, as well as a Nessa and another Gorsenia (these still not even shipped...grrrrr) over Xmas, before I started working with MagdaBras4you

Since our Ewa Michalak group order, I've been working with her to get me more Polish brands to try and I really can't gush enough about how wonderful she is. Her customer service is second-to-none. I'll never buy a Polish bra without her again..

This bra is not owned any more

  • Is that really padded or molded? The structure looks more like a molded bra to me, possibly why it doesn’t fit well.

  • Sovavosi I know. But it's padded. I just loaded 2 photos so you can see the construction. It's actually nicely done (just not deep enough for my bossy, uber firm and projected boobies) lol

Oh, the inside shots help a lot. They did a good job hiding that seam on the outside.

Sorry it didn't work out. I have trouble with the padded bras as well, so I feel your pain.

And Magda is amazing isn't she? She is our Fairy Bra Mother, providing customer service like no other in the history of bras or business. Seriously, spectacular!

  • MamaPagan I'm not too disappointed. I have the soft beige Gorsenia. The seam on that one mostly blocks my nipples. 1 goodie out of 3 is a good batting average in my mind. Especially considering how narrow it is and how well it tacks. I'd buy more in this form, but the 200-series aren't in the Spring catalogue. I wonder will those soft cups fit the same? Hmmmmm

Maybe Magda can decipher the style differences for you?

    Thanks.:)
I was not sure about the model of this bra. This is a full cup padded bra from the base collection, construction FC1. A similar model is KATE 281 with the same structure. Available in various colors.

FC1 is their Full cup style 1 Here’s prior models for that style if it helps:

SS16: Irida, Judie, Alina, Robin, Kate, Jana F16W17: Cecile, Reese, Betsy, Lori, Lee; SS17: Cassie, Meredith, Tilda; F17W18: Henriette; Vestiva: BSV100-BIC, BSV102-CZA

From my notes as well, you may like the FC2 style, which is similar but with a wider spaced gore. Prior year models are:
SS16: Lillian, Hortensja F16W17: Matilda, Marilyn; SS17: Judy; F17W18: Amelie

There is also a FC4 (SS16: Ginger (blue) SS17: Ginger (tan), Sarah) and FC5 (SS17: Ronnie) style but there doesn’t appear to be that many models released for those. The FC4 is similar to FC1 but with 4 section cups, and the FC5 is similar to the FC2 style.

Oh! And if you can find one, you should try the FCB3 style, Full Cup Balcony (ie Half cup haha)
(SS16: Gina (blue), Flora, Emiliana F16W17: Litsa; SS17: Gina (tan))
This one is a demi style cup with removable/multi way straps. Gives a lot of oomph, so think great date night bra with lift! Magda can tell you if there’s any available currently. ☺
