I LOVE this bra. It is "lightly lined" in that it has molded, foam cups, but there is no added padding. For a lined bra, it is remarkably lightweight, and it's incredibly soft and silky-feeling. This provides good lift and shaping for a naturally "uplifted" look, and it's smooth enough to wear under any type of clothing. It plunges low enough at the gore that it works with low-cut shirts as well as T-shirts. While Katie is very similar to Aerie's iconic "Sunnie" bra, I prefer Katie for myself. Sunnie is a wonderful bra, don't get me wrong, but Katie's narrower center gore is more flattering for my shape. My boobs want to exist in my armpits, and while Sunnie fits perfectly, it doesn't pull my breasts more front and center. Katie definitely does, and I like the look a lot. Regardless of how small I am, the perk is long gone, so I appreciate bras that give me a little uplift. Katie is a really pretty bra that can be dressed up or down, depending upon the colorway and the matching underwear (or not). If you have my shaping I hope you get to try a Katie soon.
