This is another "hit" for me from Aerie. I love this bra because it's incredibly comfortable and it's cute, too. The cups are a silky mesh fabric (similar to many of Freya's unlined bras) without any seams. Under tight shirts, this bra doesn't give any modesty, but under looser fitting shirts it works beautifully for me (keep in mind my size is very small). I do "bounce" when I walk, but not as much as I do with wireless bras. This bra is as comfortable as a second skin, and it allows for "natural" shaping. Lack of seams keeps "pointy-shape" away, but it also does not allow for any "lift". If this bra had inner side slings I would think it was the best thing ever invented; right after indoor plumbing. Even without the side slings, this bra is definitely my all-time favorite unlined, underwire bra. The Aerie Happy Unlined Plunge Bra is quite similar in fit to Cleo's unlined range (i.e. Marcie, Lucy) except, of course, Cleo's have multi-part cups. Cleo's bras also have a definite balconnet style, while Happy is more of a T-Shirt bra style. I have a Happy "Classic" and this Happy "Plunge" and I prefer the plunge. I'm not sure why...it might be because of the smooth fabric vs. bumpy lace. Also, the Classic Happy has longer wires, and wider, shallower cups, so perhaps I like the shaping from the Plunge a bit better. Overall I love the Happy bras because I'm thrilled to find unlined underwire bras that work for me. Gone are the days of Tango Orange-in-a-Glass and Andorra's 1950's pointy cones!
