So it seems to me that according to just about everything I've read, including bra measurements here on Bratabase, that I cannot find a softcup bra in 28DD that will not be either too wide, cut too deep or both.
To be honest, I haven't tried many soft cup bras, but reading posts on reddit about smaller sized soft cups, there seems to be a lot of complaints from that end of the boob spectrum.
I read somewhere that most of the Curvy Kate softcups in the 30DD and below (both in band and cup) are cut too deep.
Right now I have a 28DD Curvy Kate Ella, and it is a tad too wide and about a couple inches too deep (so much baggy fabric). And it puzzles me how the wires keep climbing onto my breast tissue, and it hurts like a mutha! I was thinking it could be a too loose band, but I used a Rixie clip and to no avail. I love the shape it gives me though, if only it didn't create such a weird lumpy look under clothes because of all the excess fabric.
I've also tried a Panache Confetti underwire, and it was too wide and shallow for me. I took in the center gore and bent the wires a teeny bit to follow the curve of my ribcage, but alas. It was murder. I filled the cups in better, but the wires dug in so badly, and also kept cutting into the bottom of my boob without encasing the outer sides.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what would be a good soft cup for someone who's tipping on narrow with slightly shallow breasts in the 24F/28DD range? Right now, the bras I have with the best wires are my Marks and Spencer bras, which have wirs that measure to about 12-13 cm and don't stretch much if at all (one of which turned out to be good in the wires after I took in the center gore) and VS's wires.
Another problem I have is that Brastop won't accept mine or my hubby's debit card. The weird Chase verification thing keeps telling me that I'm using the wrong password, even though it's worked on the actual bank's website. I would totally use Paypal, but Paypal wants me to verify my SSN card, utility bills with my name on it and a government issued ID, none of which I have (with my married name at least) since it's all still processing with immigration. Except for the utility bill, which I don't have since we live with my parents because students

Hey nyannekochan :) So I have pretty wide but and shallow breasts and I'm around your size range. I found that the Freya Pollyanna is quite narrow. Perhaps you should give that one a try?
Might be able to find it on ebay or something since it's discontinued.
I actually have it bookmarked on my eBay watch list... just haven't gotten around to getting enough Paypal credit, especially with the damn verification. Thanks for the heads up though!
