I've got a question about breastfeeding: I'm trying to finish nursing 13month old, he only gets one or two small feeds at night. My breasts went from 38 to 39.5inches (lucky I had some bigger bras left) . My Alexa 32ff is too small, I had to dig old Pollyanna in 32gg out. How long does it take to get your old size back? All my new Cleos are too small now.

  • I'm very interested to learn what people have to say about this topic! I am very gradually weaning my 14 months old too -- we're down to 3 feeding moments a day: morning, afternoon, bed time -- and I'm utterly puzzled by my breasts as well. For comparison, at the moment they can be anything from 30DD to 30F in Masquerade Rhea, but on average they are on the bigger end of that spectrum, which means they are about a full cup size bigger than they were when I was breastfeeding much more. My Andorra 28F doesn't fit comfortably anymore nor does my HM Gold 65DD. My breasts aren't even more 'engorged', they just seem bigger, and to make matters worse, it's even more noticeable on my usually already slightly larger right side ... I'm getting a bit desperate as I simply have no bras that fit me and I'm not sure it is worthwhile investing in more bras (for example a Rhea in 30F, the model that so far seems to work very well with my breast shape) until this thing settles down ...

  • I found it took about a month after I completely stopped. And for me I went down even smaller than before pregnancy....so those bras may still not fit. Breastfeeding is a rollercoaster size-wise and it's different for everyone. I know I will go down at least two cup sizes once my son weans.
