Sinking Feeling in a Chantelle
Here's my issue with two --maybe all three--Chanetelles. My Icone fits beautifully. My C-Chic fits but feels stiff. My Rive Gauche band and cups are too large but at first, fits OK.
Within a hour or less, the band slowly works its way down about an inch, maybe 1.5 inches. The Icone then rested on a rib and the wire dug into that rib like it wanted BBQ sauce. The first two bands feel very tight but not unbreathably tight. The C-Chic feel like it's pushing my breast down.
Is this:
1. Wrong bra style for me (breast weight pushing the cup down)?
2. band too tight? (but it happens in the too-loose Rive Gauche)
3. Cups too small?
4. Something else?
I do not get this pushing/sliding/rib biting from my Fantasies.

Do you get empty space at bottom of the cups when the bra sinks down and the wires no longer sit in the crease of the breast?
If so, the answer is 4. Too narrow wires. ;) rive gauche in particularly.
It can also be that the wires are actually too high for you at the sides so your armpit is the one pushing them down.
But my bet is on too narrow wires.
*Edit: just saw your pictures. It's deffinitly orange in the glass effect.
The wires go back past the middle of my armpit. The extra side support on the C Chic is near the back edge of my arms. Measures, the width is 6 on the Icone and 7 on the Rive Gauche. So, yeah, maybe I need 6.5 or 7 inch wide wires. I know anything wider is too wide, though--as it is, the 6.8 inch and 7 inch Fantasie wires end near the back of my armpit. Since I am short with a short torso, the armpit pushing the wires down might be the issue as well. Hmmm. Lower wires allow tissue to escape.
Oh, and (wearing it now), the Icone: the bottom edge of the cup is trying to curl up, wire and all. Like my stomach is pushing it back up.
I'm getting very discouraged by this effort to find a good bra.
