Full on bottom, what does it mean?

I still really have a hard time understanding what full on top and full on bottom means. It almost seems as if one isn't obviously full on top one is described as full on bottom?

Is it really a shape one is trying to describe or a fit issue?

I can understand how boobs with little top tissue and high nipples would be described as full on bottom, ski slope shape or some round version with high nipples.
But it does seem it's used to describe a fit issue? What exaxtly does that fit issue mean? Is full the same as firm? Or is it about volume? Or is it again an intuitive thing?

  • I say I am full on bottom because I can never fit into the bottom of a cup. So that is definitely fit-issue related. And also, as contrast to full on top, as I don't get the fit-issues related to that. I wouldn't say it is the same as firm, I have a very soft surface, but still have the issues.

  • To me it's definitely about volume, and not the same as firm.
Now that I've figured out what really going on with my boobs, I describe myself as full on bottom, because I need the cup to be deep right away up against the underwire, and I will fill or over-fill even a large bottom section. In most bras, my nipple actually ends up above the apex and/or horizontal seam.

I wind up looking full on top too, which I think may be because the bottom of my boobs pushes the top up so much it spills out the top of the cup.
Now, what I may actually be is full all over/round, but I am at *minimum *full on bottom, even if I am *also* full on top.

If you look at my pictures from the Jasmine in 32K (yes, I finally put up pics of me in the Jasmine!) I think you can see what I mean. The Jasmine has a particularly large/high bottom section, and yet look how it's filled up on me.
Same with look at Goddess Keira in 34N. (Btw the first pic is before fully scooping, the second is after, lol.) Just look at the sheer amount of boob in the bottom of the cups. Now obviously this bra is too small on me, but only by maybe a size or two. So it's not primarily a size issue, it's just a question of volume.
