What's on your fantasy wishlist?

So... Lately I've been spending a LOT of time on Figleaves, looking at lingerie that's too expensive for me to possibly think about getting, or lingerie that's INCREDIBLY impractical and not worth spending the money on, and/or bras that don't come in my size and couldn't possibly fit me.

I know it's totally a waste of time, but it's one of those "some day, if I win the lottery..." exercises. (I don't actually play the lottery, though, so I don't expect to win it. Still!)

Here are some samples from my fantasy wishlist:

The Fantasie Susanna bra and/or basque: http://www.figleaves.com/us/product/FE-FL2402/Fantasie-Susanna-Underwired-Bra-With-Side-Support/
Because I loves me some lace. It actually does come in a 30H, which I could feasibly wear, but it's way out of my price range. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it ends up in clearance a few seasons from now.

The Masquerade Delphi basque: http://www.figleaves.com/us/product/MQ-6417/Masquerade-Delphi-Basque/
This one's actually 20% off right now (on the US site at least) so if you have the means and the inclination, go get it! If it turns out not to fit you, you could give it to me. <3

The Freya Lyla balconette: http://www.figleaves.com/us/product/FRA-AA4302/Freya-Lyla-Underwired-Balconette-GGJ-Bra/
I actually tried this on once in Intimacy... It was a great fit, but far, far out of my price range. (Every time I go into Intimacy they have one or two bras that fit me, and they cost a ton, and then they tell me "Well you have to buy it, because you're not going to find bras in your size anywhere else, you know." The lecture totally turns me off and I leave and tell myself I'll never come back. But then I do come back, thinking maybe they've changed, maybe we can make this work... Surprise! We can't.)
I love the poppy embroidery and the pretty colors. They keep coming out with more colors and discontinuing the old ones and I want them all.

The Freya Rosie soft cup bra: http://www.figleaves.com/us/product/FRA-AA1211/Freya-Rosie-Soft-Cup-Maternity-Bra
It's cute, it looks comfy, and I don't own a single shirt under which I could wear it. It does come in white, but it's not as adorable.

The Freya Active Moulder Racerback: http://www.figleaves.com/us/product/FRA-AA4891/Freya-Active-Moulded-Racer-Back-Sports-Bra/
Okay, this is kind of an outlier on my list. It's not exactly pretty. But I tried the Freya underwired sports bra and it was really supportive, but the fit wasn't right. (Also, mega pointy.) I want to try this, but it's too expensive to mess up and have to go back and forth shipping to return it and try another size.

The Cleo Juna: http://www.figleaves.com/us/product/GO-6461/Cleo-by-Panache-Juna-Balconette-Bra
I have a REALLY hard time finding T-shirt bras. Almost all the bras I own are super duper lacy and/or colorful and look funky under most of my shirts. After the disaster that was the Curvy Kate Daily Boost (I'm still thinking of ordering it in another size, but I wouldn't know where to start) I'm hesitant to shell out $50+ for this bra, even if it would be really useful.

Marlies Dekkers... Everything. http://www.marliesdekkers.com/
Do you ever get tired of the same floral prints and girly colors? Marlies is different. Her bras were originally inspired by horse tack, with straps all over and occasional leather/metal accents. They're beautiful and sleek and sexy and I love it.
I once was lucky enough to have a Marlies bra. It was a birthday present, and it was amazing, even though it was big in the band and small in the cups. This was back in college, and I wore it until one day the awful school washing machine literally ripped it (and the lingerie bag it was in) to shreds. I hate that washing machine to this day.

And of course... EVERYTHING THAT EWA MICHALAK HAS EVER MADE. http://www.ewa-michalak.pl/eng_m_Bras-119.html
For real. I could go on a bajillion-dollar shopping spree. I'd have to get everything made to order, though, since she rarely has 28HH+ sizes available premade on her site. Next time I have a couple hundred USD lying around (hahahaha... like that'll happen) I'm promising myself a present from Ewa.

So! I've babbled enough about my fantasy lingerie wishlist. What's on yours? Anything you're dreaming about getting for the holidays? Anything you wish would fit you but doesn't? Anything that's beautiful but just too silly to own? Tell me about it!

  • I've seen the Freya Rosie on e-bay. Keep an eye out.

  • Freya Lyla is also frequently available on ebay. Also check out the bra with the same cut as Lyla: Arabella and Halle.

My dream lingerie: an apple green bra in my size that fits me.

I really really adored the green and white polka dot Freya Patsy and cursed my luck that Freya is not my brand and that I was sized out.

I am also desperately hoping for a return of the Elomi Cleo Side Support in a fun print. It was my favourite bra and it got discontinued. :( Goddess still makes the Goddess Rose 6080 which is the same cut, but it is fugly and comes only in boring beige and black. Both colours made me look like I just died.

I also really adore the prints on most Cleo by Panache bras. Cleo Frances, Cleo Alexa, Cleo Ellie. Also Bravissimo Parisien Plume and Elomi Paloma.

Damn, why don't they fit me? So close in size, but no cigar.
