Centre gores are never narrow enough.

Basically as the title says, centre gores are never really narrow enough for me. If I pull the gore away and look down, the boobs form a 'V' shape so there's really no place for the gore to sit. When I take of my bra, the markings are on the inner edges of the 'V' if that makes sense. Is anyone else like this?

  • Yes, but I find that if the wires are touching, then it's sufficiently narrow. Not so narrow that the markings will only be on my sternum--that's physically impossible--but narrow enough to be comfortable. If a gore is too wide, sometimes it works to modify it by folding and seaming the triangle smaller. (http://boobiusmaximus.livejournal.com/1474.html)

  • This happens to me, too. There is that V shape in between my boobs, and it's on top of more boob. Sometimes I wish bras were made of one underwire that started as a center gore and then split into two wires to be under the cups. It would be nice, albeit difficult.
