Hi. Don't know names of my bras. I absolutely hate having a large chest - 36HH and do my best to disguise them. Usually wear minimiser bras but the ones I like from m&s only go into 36G so I end up having overspill. I've bought from bravimissio but they don't sell minimiser bras and I end up discarding them as I feel they make me look huge. None of my family friends and work colleagues have large chests. I just feel like a freak.

  • There is nothing abnormal about having large breasts. The truth is, regardless of size, most women aren't entirely comfortable in their bodies. We have very little control over our anatomy, so it is extremely important to work on loving your body the way it is. It is going to be impossible to be physically or emotionally comfortable in one's own body without accepting what we're given and learning to love and work with it.

Your best bet is starting with a bra that is comfortable and fits properly. Even if at first you just wear it around the house to get used to how it looks and gain confidence, it will be worth it. A properly fitted bra will be good for your posture and help define your waist. Instead of wearing an ill-fitting bra, you can use different color patterns and necklines to visually minimize the bust, or dress to play up a part of your body you like.

  • We all come in different shapes and sizes. You're not a freak--you're just not airbrushed!

Several lingerie bloggers deal with this issue and show you how to look fab. I also recommend insideoutstyleblog -- Imogen has tips on how to visually minimize a large bust.

Have you run one of the calculators to see if the size you think you need is correct? http://www.sizemapp.com/en/
Could be a well-fitting bra will make you feel much better, as ayoungpretender said.
