I am new to this site, I found it through a blog someone posted on Facebook, but I am very confused. I am in Canada, and I wear plus sized clothing. I know most people wear a bra that doesn't fit, but I don't have straps that dig in, bands that ride up, spillage out of the cups or anything like that. When doing fittings in Canada, those seem to be the only criteria that are looked at, not how the wires fit. I think my 42 C bra fits, but I can only wear a bra without underwire or the wires dig in after a period of time, and bending over in it is uncomfortable.
I am being recommended via this site to wear a 36 FF or H or a 38 E or F or FF or G . Stores here don't carry those sizes and I am having a hard time spending $100 to order one of the bras recommended to me here. ( I don't spend that on shoes, never mind a bra) The closest shop I can find that might sell these bras in the store is several hours away.
I recently gained a bunch of weight, so I put on a bra that used to fit, a 36 C last night and the band is stretched so tight, it is rolling up, but I can perceive how I need a much much bigger cup with this band size , so with that thought, I am taking the plunge and ordering one of the bras from my list and going to give it a try I have ordered the @ Freya Deco Hatty plunge in 38 E and will report how it goes once it arrives. 2 band sizes smaller and several cup sizes larger than I normally wear

  • I am very excited for you starting on your bra adventure! I hope it works out for you. You can also find bras on here in the listings. There are various sorting criteria you can use, including size.

  • eBay and the listings here are a good way to try out bras without paying full price. Good luck!
