Issues with Parfait Charlotte...
I received a Charlotte this week. I had some Christmas money left, so I decided to give it a try!
Just a few words on largecuplingerie, where I got it from. They are awesome. Shipping was free and very very fast! Everything perfect!
My usual size these days is 32JJ/K and since the Charlotte is known to run about 2 cup sizes small, I decided to size up to 34K.
What I like about it:
- How pretty it is!!! <3
- Padding of the cups – very comfy (feels like boobs on clouds)
- 4 hook closure! (I want that on all my bras!!!)
- Wide band, wide shoulder straps (that are fully adjustable btw!)
- sturdy and stable construction
The issues:
- Extremely tall cups! I think this is the tallest bra I've ever tried. (Okay maybe that 30KK - Panache » Harmony Underwired Balconnet (4031) was worse but I blocked that one out of my memory.) I get gaping towards the shoulder straps despite the bra not being too big!
- Cups come too high under my arms
- Very shallow cups, especially towards the centre.
- Runs small (about 2 cup sizes)
- The gore does not tack
I don't mind the gore not tacking if the bra is still supportive. The worst one for me is really that the cups are too tall! And I usually really need tall cups. (I need the original cup height in Comexim bras and I can wear most Panache bras, even the older styles with the taller wires) I'm unsure if a 32K would fix this issues, but I don't think so. Also I think I would get some quadboob if I sized down...
I think these Issues are very common in the H+ size range of this bra?

Both versions of the Parfait Charlotte are definitely for those of us who need really high wings. I have the plunge in 30FF and the balconette in 30G, and they're the only bras I've ever tried that come up high enough under the arms on me.
I don't think I have unusually tall roots at all, but the cup height works for me, too. Probably because I am low rooted, even though I'm pretty short (5'3.5").
Is this peach pale version? Or new? I didn't know they're producing Charlotte in pink.
