Half cup or other oompfy/cleveage bras in J-K cups

Do they exist?

Since learning to swoop and scoop and losing weight on my back, its become apparent there was a lot of migrated tissue that's moving into place, along with the comparative size to my new back it seems my cup size keeps going up,up, up.
So the bras I get are all very different to the old padded, moulded cup high street ones I used to wear and liked!

Fantasie, Freya, Panache, Curvy Kate, they all are unpadded and give that awful separated round shape compared to the oomph I am used to, and I can't wear anything low cut or thin strap anymore because they all show through.

Are there any bras in my new found size (32jj-k) that will give proper clevage a 'pushed up' look.

I held onto a 38G bra that quads so much if I jump or scoop just to look good under tight lowcut tops I just chucked it and now live in higher necklines and feel the girls are wasting their potential!

  • Perhaps it's the wrong size? Splayed and pointy is often indicative of a too big cup size? Most of your bra fit issues seem to be indicative of a too big size. Have you tried smaller like 32J or even 32HH? You mention that you get a droopy shape in your princess, droopy shape is caused either by too big cup or too big band or both. Shape should come from the cup and not the straps.

Also, there's a few unpadded that are known to give really round shapes as well. I'm surprised that you're unhappy with the shape that the Sienna gives because it typically gives a fairly round shape because of its shallowness.

Some famous "oomph" bras that come in your size include basically anything EM, Panache Jasmine/Envy/Clara (both give fairly round shapes from what I know, but are also unpadded), Cleo Marcie (note, Cleo does not work as well in higher sizes and this might be unstable), the Parfait Charlotte (likely will be too shallow for you, but gives a minimized round shape and cleavage)... I could go on, but I think first you should try a smaller size because that will help with shaping as well as be more comfortable.

  • I'd just like to add that it's possible to over vigorously scoop into a bra, and I know for me, if I just pull up and in, I can end up with bras which are otherwise too big cutting in at the top centre, and I wouldn't even consider myself to be agressively top-full. As large cup bras tend to have the apex of the bra quite far out, it can be quite easy to get your tissue ill-aligned with the bra. That's an easy way to fool yourself into thinking you need a bigger cup size than you actually do.

You won't really get the push you together sort of look that you get from a too-small bra, but you can definitely get a round and/or uplifted look even in very large cup sizes. Curvy Wordy's blog (www.curvywordy.com) can show how good a bra can look in terms of uplift, and she's wearing around a 32K/KK in most bras these days.

If you're not sure about size or style, you can always put up a fit request. :)
