Okay, I'm trying to delve into the world of the 'FREYA DECO'. I keep hearing so much about it and I don't own a single bra like it. I'm just finding it all so confusing. I'm in Australia so I don't have the option of viewing a lot of things in store. Instead I have to order and view online.

Does anyone know if all the Freya Deco styles have the same shape/fit?
Also, how do people find this style runs in the back or cup?
I was only able to try on the Freya deco shape in store in a 30FF. I would usually wear a 28FF/G as an ideal size. The 30FF was massive on. It almost looked 3 sizes too big in the cup. I was quite shocked as most 30FF's usually sit well on me. The store didn't have any 28's or any other 30's to try so I'm a little lost. I don't know whether I should chance ordering my usual size or go down a size or two in the cup.

Does anyone have any advice they can offer. I would really appreciate it.

  • Did you look at the measurements and reviews for the deco on here? There are tons, for all the different styles.
It seems to run at least a cup size big.

  • The basic Freya Deco underwired plunge (it gets super confusing because there's so many other Deco styles like the half-cup and the soft cup and the fashion styles) is super open on top, which means that it runs pretty large. Actually, I can wear my sister's 30F Deco if I wanted to have that sort of VS/Bras & Things super cleavage look & it's not especially precarious, and I think in most bras these days I'd be looking for a 26LL/28L if they made those sizes (a 30K is usually a bit small in the cups & quite a bit too loose in the band without alteration). That's not how you should wear the Deco though for everyday support. :P

My other sister who usually wears a 28FF or maybe a 28G in small/shallow styles wears a 28F Deco. I don't know how your breast shape lines up with hers, but I'd suggest 28F may be the way to go. It's also generous in the band, but there's relatively little you can do about that, as 28 is the smallest band size there is.

Where in Australia do you live? There's definitely some decent stores in capital cities at least, though I realise for people in more rural areas it can be a real hassle trying to get cups above an E, let alone 28 & 30 bands. I live in one of the largest non-capital cities & it's only been in the last 18 months that we've actually had a shop open which carries 28 bands in my area.
