Can you wonderful ladies recommend me..

.... a bra which fits and gives a shape like the Cleo Marcie line (I'm talking Ellis/Melissa/Bella rather than Marcie) or like the new Cleo Lily Balconnet Bra (7531) (dream fit!), but which is a little more sophisticated design-wise?

Don't get me wrong; I think Cleo designs are adorable, but I'm 33 and sometimes I want something a little sexier/more sophisticated. But I just can't find a good fit!

Jasmine is a total fail, alas.

  • I think it depends on your size range. I think the Freya stuff looks a bit more grown up, the Masquerade stuff definitely strikes me as elegant, Fauve's wires are sort of wide and weird but very, very mature. But the existing things in 28 bands are pretty limited and the Bella family is a very unique shape in a lot of ways (that I haven't found anything similar in, e.g. unpadded CK or Freya).

  • I don't blame you. Weirdly, I can really think of anything off the top of my head that has similar construction to Cleo but with a more mature design. The Panache Sienna (4471) has less depth, but does tend to give a round shape. Just a warning, it doesn't come in a 28 band. The Sienna gives a more minimized shape, but it is round and uplifted.
