I can justify buying the Fauve Bronte Padded Longline Bra (0331) even though it doesn't come in the *proper* band size right? Since I'd just be wearing it to look pretty when lounging about the house or something...? I get paid in a week, too. Sigh.

If you really will wear it, I'd say the excuse works :-) In my case, the problem is that if things don't fit perfectly, I use this reason to keep them, but then I end up not wearing them..
For sure. Thicker bands provide more support and slip around less.
